Lex United 11 Black wins Union Heartbreaker

<p>Lexington United 11 Black won the Union Heartbreaker Championship on Saturday.</p>
<p>Thriving throughout the early-season tournament, Lexington United 11 Black won 10 out of 12 sets and exited the event without a loss. </p>
<p>Lexington United 11 Black edged out Union 11 KY White for the tournament title. </p>
<p>Along with Lexington United and host Union, clubs participating in the tournament were Adidas KIVA, Aspire Volleyball Club, Bluegrass Volleyball Academy, Central Kentucky Volleyball Club, Cincy Classics, DC Digz, Elizabethtown Volleyball Club, Evansville River City Volleyball, Evolution Volleyball Club, Fort Knox Fury, Frankfort Elite Volleyball Association, Insanity Volleyball, KOVA, Legacy Volleyball Club, Mercer Club Volleyball, Metro Parks and Recreation Volleyball Academy, Mountain Thunder, Northeastern Kentucky Volleyball Academy, Owensboro Volleyball Club, Prodigy, PRVC, Ramsey Rage, Rise-UP VBC Lexington, Rolling Hills Volleyball Club, Shelby Area Volleyball Association, Shockwave Volleyball Club, Southern Indiana Elite, Southern Indiana Volleyball Club, Team Vortex and Unity Volleyball.</p>
<p>Finishing undefeated at the Union Heartbreaker, Lexington United 11 Black compiled a 5-0 record. </p>
<p>The Lexington United 11 roster features student-athletes from several different schools. Lexington United 11 Black is made up of the following players: Peyton Beatty, Camille Bowman, Jasmine Clark, Emma Dunn, Ava Henderson, LeeAnn Knapp, Harper Lipsett, Shelby Mays, Kennedy Morgan.</p>
<p>The final standings for the 11s division of the Union Heartbreaker were as follows: 1st - Lexington United 11 Black (5-0), 2nd - Union 11 KY White (4-1), 3rd - Adidas KIVA 11 Grey (2-2), 3rd - Elizabethtown Volleyball Club Y11-1 Gray (1-3), 5th - Prodigy 11 Red (2-2), 6th - Lexington United 11 Blue (1-3), 7th - SIE 11-1 (2-2), 8th - Union 11 IN Lime (0-4). </p>
<p>Following the triumph in the Union Heartbreaker, Lexington United 11 Black will turn its attention to the rest of the 2020 club season, which will include additional tournaments. </p>
<p>Looking ahead, Lexington United 11 Black is scheduled to compete in the Bluegrass Tournament March 7-8 and the Union Spring Break Blast March 21-22. </p>
