Setter – Pulaski), [player_tooltip player_id="122523" first="Claire" last="Luoma"] (5’8 – Libero – Franklin), and [player_tooltip player_id="122568" first="Lilly" last="Wagner"] (5’11 – Setter – Oconomowoc). Bruss has exceptional volleyball IQ and court awareness, but her ability to jump made her one of the blockers for her team at Prep Dig Tournaments this fall. Luoma’s confidence is great to see in such a young player up against some of the best hitters in the country. As a starter for the Coons, Wagner propelled their level of play with her innate physical capability.

The 16 Purple team for Wisconsin Ice has brought up [player_tooltip player_id="122492" first="Meg" last="Pfannerstill"], the Outside Hitter from Lakeland. As a freshman, she has already made her presence known as she earned 2nd Team honor in the competitive Great Northern Conference. Pfannerstill plays with energy and a “no fear” style of play. It makes a lot of sense that she’s pulled up to compete with older players!
[caption id="attachment_118753" align="alignright" width="300"] [player_tooltip player_id="122522" first="Aaliyah" last="Krenn"]
Wisconsin Ice: Their 15 Purple team is going to be a tough group this season. Setting for them will likely be 5′3 [player_tooltip player_id="122507" first="Paige" last="Guld"] from Newman Catholic and [player_tooltip player_id="122559" first="Courtney" last="Sommer"] (5’8 – Columbus Catholic). Both have demonstrated their ability to set in the back row and attack in front, but the team also features some great hitters as well with [player_tooltip player_id="122517" first="Ava" last="Krueger"] a 5’8 Middle Blocker/Outside Hitter from Marathon and London Metropulos (6’0 – Pin Hitter/Middle Blocker) from Wittenberg-Birnamwood who were both big impact players for their Varsity teams. Another big varsity contributor is [player_tooltip player_id="122477" first="Alexa" last="Boerboom"] (5’2 – Libero) from Nekoosa who ran their backcourt while gaining valuable experience. [player_tooltip player_id="122522" first="Aaliyah" last="Krenn"] (Wisconsin Ice) is a 6’0 Middle Blocker/Pin Hitter from Marshfield, and although she wasn’t a part of the Varsity squad, she will be ready when they need her after they graduate Brooke Boushack and [player_tooltip player_id="80847" first="Alani" last="Carter"]. We’ve seen her developing her height and improve her all-around game.

We can’t wait to see them develop over this club season, and we will likely be adding new players and ranking out the watchlist in the spring!
