At the same time, the top private high schools of the state were competing for their state titles in Waco, the host city of the Texas Association of Parochial and Private High Schools (TAPPS) State Championship, where six other teams emerged victorious.

The Christ Academy Lady Warriors continue to be a force in the division as they won their second-straight state title and their third in four years – 2018, 2020 and 2021.
The team from Wichita Falls was dominant in the State Championship match, taking the title with a comfortable 3-0 (25-17, 25-18, 25-17) victory over San Angelo’s Cornerstone Christian.
