Lonestar Classic weekends have officially come to an end. 16 Open division was all the hype and more. With 24 teams finishing in gold 1/3 of them were Texas teams already qualified for the national tournament. And all 3 teams with an allocation from Lonestar weekend, were Texas teams! Shoutout to Alamo 16 Premier for taking the Gold, but let's get into who got their bids. Up first, Houston Skyline 16 Royal with the 3rd place finish!   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">H Skyline 16 Royal</h2>    Leah Moore, a middle blocker for Houston Skyline, consistently does the work necessary to be successful in her position. She understands the importance of timing, discipline, and effort, which shows in how effectively she closes the block. Leah stays aggressive at the net, never hesitating to press over and take away angles, while also remaining attentive to the setter and the flow of the play. Her focus and determination allow her to make smart, quick decisions, contributing both defensively and offensively. With her strong work ethic and commitment to the fundamentals, Leah plays a key role in her team's success.     Addison Musgrove, a primetime setter for Houston Skyline. She brings a steady and composed presence to the court with her ability to run a clean and even tempo at the ne. She consistently delivers hittable balls, allowing her attackers to stay in rhythm and perform at their best throughout the match. Addison's decision-making and court awareness help keep the offense balanced and unpredictable, making it difficult for opposing defenses to adjust. Her leadership and consistency set the tone for the team, as she works tirelessly to maintain flow and efficiency in every rotation.     Aubrey Morrison, an outside hitter for Houston Skyline, is a reliable and steady presence on the court. Her reach and technical swing consistently keep her team in the play. It may not be a kill every ball, but her ability to see the block, extend, and make a smart play allows her to maintain control. Aubrey's composure and shot selection help sustain rallies, giving her team more opportunities to win points. Her consistency and understanding of the game make her a dependable option in any situation. Especially when the team needs to stay composed and competitive.     Jada Skinner, a six-rotation outside hitter for Houston Skyline, is a dynamic presence on the court. She is a constant offensive threat from anywhere. Whether attacking from the back row or swinging at the net, Jada actively demands the ball and approaches every opportunity with confidence. Her versatility allows her to impact the game in all rotations, and her relentless mindset keeps opposing defenses on edge. Carly Pipes, the libero for Houston Skyline, brings a calm and controlled presence to the back row. Her leadership anchors her team's defense.
