Below are the athletes from week seven who stepped up and were a major factor in the team’s success.
Madi Andrews l Nelson High School l 2026 l 6’0” l OH l Athena Volleyball Academy
Andrews has continued to dominate as a six-rotation outside hitter for the Nelson High School Hawks. She continues to play well above her years, stepping on the court with poise and maturity. In the Hawks’s two match wins, Andrews posted 32 kills, 5 service aces, 22 digs, and 2 blocks. In the West Linn tournament, she accumulated 41 kills, 5 assists, and 27 digs.
Natalie Baker Natalie Baker 5'7" | MB Clatskanie | 2025 State OR l Clatskanie High School l 2025 l 5’7” l MB l PacWest Volleyball Academy
Baker has been an impact player as an all-around middle for the Clatskanie High School Tigers since the beginning of the season. Her coach commended Baker on being an inspirational teammate, showcasing relentless pursuit, and helping lead the Tigers to victory in both matches. Versus Vernonia, she racked up 14 kills and 3 blocks. In the Tigers match versus Knappa, the team battled and won in 4-sets. She was a major contributor in this match with 13 kills, a season high 12 blocks, 20 digs, and 2 service aces with 0 errors.
Ella Baley Ella Baley 5'8" | OH Mazama | 2023 State OR l Mazama High School l 2023 l 5’7” l OH l Basin Bombers Volleyball
Baley has been a steady force for the Mazama High School Vikings as a six-rotation pin hitter. Offensively and defensively, she does a lot for the team and is consistently at the top of the leaderboards statistically speaking. In the two league wins, Baley amassed 31 kills, 25 digs, and 8 service aces. In the Viking’s second-place finish at the Marshfield tournament, the senior attacker had 15 service aces, 56 kills, and 73 digs.
Halsey Brumitt Halsey Brumitt 5'11" | OH Clackamas | 2023 State OR l Clackamas High School l 2023 l 5’10” l OH l Athena Volleyball Academy
Committed: Dominican University (California)
Brumitt has been a force on the outside for the Clackamas High School Cavaliers. Shouldering a majority of their offensive load, the senior has really stepped up this season, with Leah Agost (Bushnell) graduating. Leading the team in most statistical categories, Brumitt posted 18 kills, 7 service aces, and 3 blocks.
Maile Chan Maile Chan 5'3" | DS/L Mountainside | 2024 State #156 Nation OR l Mountainside High School l 2024 l 5’3” l DS l Athena Volleyball Academy
Chan has been sporting the libero jersey all season long for the Mountainside High School Mavericks. On the season, she is averaging 4.4 digs per set and is passing a 2.2. Her coach noted that she is a constant for the teams backrow and provides a competitive spirit, encouragement and a breadth of knowledge to the court. In their two league matches, Chan had 26 digs, 5 service aces, and had an average service receive rating of 2.3.
Giana Elgarico Giana Elgarico 5'11" | MB Marist Catholic | 2025 State OR l Marist Catholic High School l 2025 l 5’11” l OH/MB l North Pacific Juniors
Elgarico has transitioned to the outside this season for the Marist Catholic High School Spartans and has showcased dominant play. In the Spartans win versus Cottage Grove (which secured them a 2nd place title in the Sky-Em League, Elgarico had an incredible match. The sophomore standout posted 19 kills, hitting a .366, had 4 service aces, and 5 digs.
Hailey Heytvelt Hailey Heytvelt 6'2" | MB LaSalle | 2024 State OR l LaSalle Catholic College Preperatory l 2024 l 6’0” l MB l Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy
Heytvelt has been a major offensive weapon for the LaSalle Catholic College Preperatory Falcons. Touching 10ft, and standing at 6ft, the junior proves deadly when she connects with the ball. Across two league matches, Heytvelt accumulated 19 kills on 43 swings, hitting a .302, and also had 8 blocks.
Cayden Henderson Cayden Henderson 5'4" | DS/L Gaston | 2024 State OR l Gaston High School l 2024 l 5’3” l DS

Henderson has been showcasing steady play for the Gaston High School Greyhounds. She has been an anchor to the backrow of the Greyhounds, but had a break out duing the seventh week of play. In two league matches, the junior posted 92 successful digs, and 3 service aces, with only 2 errors on 28 attempts.
Hallee Hughes Hallee Hughes 5'11" | OH Willamina | 2023 OR l Willamina High School l 2023 l 5’10” l OH l Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy
Hughes has been a terminal six-rotation standout for the Willamina High School Bulldogs. Shouldering a brunt of the offensive load, the senior accumulated 64 kills across three matches. She also had 4 blocks and 12 digs versus Salem Academy alone.
Khalia Jabbie l Parkrose High School l 2023 l 5’11” l MB
Jabbie is a senior middle blocker for the Parkrose High School Broncos, and a terminal one at that. A go-to attacker for the team, she is leading the Broncos in kills. Her coach commended her on her unstoppable play, incredible work ethic, and being the heart of the team. In one match, she amassed 13 kills and 6 blocks.
Ryland Minnick l Crosshill Christian l 2026 l 6’0″ l MB l G3 Volleyball
Minnick has been a critical aspect to the Crosshill Christian Eagles lineup. She is relied on all around and has shouldered a significant load this season. In the Eagles match, Minnick garnered 14 kills, 5 digs, 8 service aces, 3 blocks, and passed a 2.0 on serve receive.
Emily Murphy l North Lake High School l 2024 l 5’9′ l OH
Murphy has been a major offensive weapon for the North Lake High School Cowboys. The junior captain showcases a positive attitude on and off the court. In a single match, Murphy racked up 21 kills!
Lizabelle Osborn Lizabelle Osborn 5'7" | OH Crewsell | 2024 State OR l Creswell High School l 2024 l 5’7” l OH l Unity Volleyball Club
Osborn has been a vital piece to the Creswell High School Bulldogs. A six-rotation pin hitter, she is relied on heavily. In a Bulldogs match, she accumulated 29 kills, 2 service aces, and was near perfect on serve receive.
Hayden Pinard Hayden Pinard 5'10" | S Roseburg | 2023 State OR l Roseburg High School l 2023 l 5’10” l S l North Pacific Juniors
Committed: Western Oregon University
Pinard has been leading the Roseburg High School Indians to victory this season. Running a 5-1, she has showcased relentless pursuit, getting to everything she can and putting up a hittable set. Her all around skills are solid as well, always reliable on defense and brings consistency to the service line. Across 8 sets Pinard posted 81 assists, 26 digs, 8 service aces, 6 kills and 4 blocks.
Mallorie Taylor Mallorie Taylor 5'5" | DS/L LaSalle Catholic | 2023 State OR l LaSalle Catholic College Preperatory l 2023 l 5’4” l DS l Aspire NW Volleyball Club
Taylor has been leading the backrow for the LaSalle Falcons. A returning senior libero, Taylor has been a critical aspect to the Falcons success. Her consistent serve receive and relentless pursuit on defense make her tough to beat. Her coach commented on Taylor showcasing some serious grit, and always putting her all into every match. But noted what sets her apart, and makes her great, is her heart and determination. In the Falcons match versus Wilsonville, the senior posted 27 digs.
