Wayzata was the repeat Class AAAA State Champions and that was in big part due to the dynamic attack of pins, Olivia Swenson Olivia Swenson 6’3″ | OH Wayzata | 2024 State #98 Nation MN , Avery Jesewitz Avery Jesewitz 6’4″ | OH Wayzata | 2024 State #175 Nation MN , and the distributor, Stella Swenson Stella Swenson 6’1″ | S Wayzata | 2024 State #8 Nation MN . This Junior trio is unstoppable. Olivia was injured during the 2021 season but since then has garnered honors such as JVA Watchlist, AVCA Phenom Watchlist, Class AAAA All-State Team and Class AAAA State All-Tournament Team. She also made her verbal commitment to Minnesota and made the MN Select 18-1 team. This Swenson is gearing up to do some serious damage on the court this winter.
Burr was an unstoppable force during the state tournament for her Cannon Falls team. She earned spots on the Class AA All-State Team and Class AA State All-Tournament Team while helping her team to a Class AA State Championship Title after taking a 6th place finish in 2021. You will find her continuing her rise with SMV 17-1 Black this winter after making her verbal commitment to play for South Dakota State.
Clark had a solid 2022 where she earned honors during the offseason including All Region 2nd Team, made the North Country Region High Performance Camp and the AVCA Phenom Watchlist. This fall she ran the offense for Class AAA State Runner-up Benilde-St. Margaret. Clark tallied 22 assists and 9 digs in their 0-3 loss to Marshall. You can find her running the offense for M1 171 this club season.
Nistor is a top defensive specialist in the 2024 class. She was a role player for Wayzata in their big run to take another Class AAAA State Championship title. Nistor’s also exploded into the Northern Lights ranks making their 17-1 team which is no easy feat.
In 2021 Brandl ran a 5-1 and helped Forest Lake to a Class AAAA 7th Place finish. She impressed at the PD MN Top 250 and competed with a talented Kokoro 16-1 group over the club season and landed a spot on the AVCA Phenom Watchlist. This fall Brandl earned a spot on the Class AAAA All-State Team.
