5’10” Outside Hitter Elle Heckenlively Elle Heckenlively 5'10" | OH Gretna | 2025 State NE from Gretna High School and plays club for Premier is super athletic and powerful. She transitioned to the outside after playing middle for the Dragons in 2021. She hammered 346 kills, and had 56 ace serves this past fall. Her athleticism is also evident, as she was the Class A State Champion in the high jump this past spring and also placed 7th in the shot put. She can put the ball anywhere on the floor and quickly. Her athleticism makes her ceiling very high in volleyball!
5’1” Defensive Specialist/Libero Bryleigh Hofer Bryleigh Hofer 5'2" | DS/L Fremont | 2025 State NE from Fremont High School and plays club for Legacy. Hofer excelled in reading the hitters well and had a great platform. She was able to dig a lot of balls to the well and get under a lot of tough balls at the Expo. Look for her to continue to get better and frustrate opposing teams.
5’8” Setter Jordyn Hill Jordyn Hill 5'8" | S Millard North | 2025 State NE from Millard North and plays club for Premier. Hill has amazing hands and makes setting look effortless. She backsets flawlessly. Her ability to square and face her hitters was very impressive. She played in 55 sets for the Mustangs this past fall and had 51 assists and 18 ace serves as a sophomore. Look for her to have a stellar club season and have an integral part of the Mustangs offense this fall.
5’10” Outside Hitter Paige Meister Paige Meister 5'10" | OH Skutt Catholic | 2025 State NE from Skutt Catholic and plays club for Nebraska Juniors. Paige was very vocal and talked to her teammates and setter well. She is a versatile hitter, in that she can hit that sharp cross court shot or paint the line down the line shot. She has a high ceiling and will continue to improve!
5’10” Middle Blocker Lexi Hasselbach from Norris High School and Nebraska One. Lexi is very explosive and can hit the ball hard. As she continues to improve her timing she will be a force to be reckoned with. Hasselbach helped the Titans reach the State Semifinals in a late night thriller loss to Omaha Skutt. She had 60 total blocks and 147 kills on the year. She was able to display some of her defensive prowess on the floor with some great digs as well on Saturday.
These super sophomores will continue to improve and contribute to their respective teams. There is so much talent physically and a high volleyball IQ as well. Keep these players on your radar!
