I’ll be making the trip to Saturday morning’s Nebraska Top 250 Expo at The Volleyball Academy, where a big group of the state’s top prep athletes will showcase their skills. We’ve already released Part 1 of our look at some of this year’s high school state tournament participants who will be there. But this is such a big group that we need a Part 2.
So, let’s do it!
Count me as one of the people anxious to see Jones back on the court in this one. She showed her value as a supportive teammate this year in high school and club venues, but Jones is anxious to prove that she’s healthy and raring to make a big on-court impact.
Kremer is part of the stacked field of Lincoln Southwest defensive specialists who made a splash this fall. She has ample high-level experience with VCNebraska, too, and this showcase could be a precursor to another successful club season for Kremer.
Lamb’s importance in the Omaha Westside lineup cannot be overlooked. The Warriors dealt with plenty of injury strife during the 2022 campaign, but Lamb was a frontcourt difference-maker when she was in the lineup. Lamb is listed as a right-side here, but expect her to also make big contributions in the middle.
Another year of big-time high school volleyball for Link. That naturally comes with being a middle blocker at Skutt Catholic, but Link’s individual growth made her a steady force for the SkyHawks. Add this 2025 to your radar.
Liss was a key contributor in helping Douglas County West reach its first-ever state volleyball tournament. She eclipsed the 200-kill mark this year as a dynamic outside-middle hybrid who could take a wealth of big swings in clutch moments for the Falcons.
Setting for Gretna comes with a lot of pressure and expectations, but Potthoff handled the task well in just her sophomore campaign. This 2025 setter could find an even better groove next year as she continues to mesh with many of the same teammates.
Highlights
Rademacher is another defensive specialist who really found a rhythm during this year’s club season. Her momentum didn’t slow down in the fall, either, as Rademacher helped her Lincoln East squad to the school’s first tournament appearance in over a decade.
Ryan remains one of the most dynamic small-town attackers in the entire state. She proved that yet again with another spectacular state championship performance, where her six-rotation role elevated Overton to a runner-up finish in Class D2. Few middle blockers have Ryan’s wide array of skills.
Uhlir is not done filling up the stat sheet as Bennington’s setter. Once again, she sat atop Nebraska’s assists leaderboard this year and will surely find another gear as a Badger senior.

Vitera is a fascinating athlete who is currently competing with Papillion-La Vista and River City Jrs. We still have a lot yet to be determined with the Class of 2025, and we’ll learn a lot more about Vitera at this showcase.
Highlights
Link wasn’t the only impactful underclassman middle blocker on this year’s Skutt Catholic squad. White first landed on my radar when she got extended starting experience at the ASICS Challenge in Chicago. Her spark from the middle was an important catalyst for the late-season ascent of the SkyHawks.
