Emerging Setters from the 2026 Watchlist

Their skill and strategy start emerging in their play and they start adding a lot of tempo to their sets. It will be exciting to see how she continues to develop as an athlete. She has a soft touch on the ball and moves it around well. Brooke is aggressive in her play and runs a fast-tempo ball. She is an aggressive setter who isn't afraid to take risks with her sets. She also plays great defense and is scrappy on the court. Ella brings energy to the court and has great court awareness. She ran a 5-1 for Pewaukee and acclimated very well to the pace of the high school game. Hannah sees the court well and will take risks with her sets. Anabelle has high-level court awareness and moves the ball around accordingly. She makes great plays and finds ways to better the ball. Sydney was another athlete who played for the Badger Region High Performance team this past summer. She was also an impact player at the Top 250 Expo. Her jump set is consistent and has great tempo. She pushes the ball pin to pin well and plays very clean volleyball. Her sound fundamentals and discipline on the court means she runs the court efficiently. She is also a talented hitter and can be used as a setter or on the pin. Calli jump sets a lot and holds opposing blockers at the net.
