The 16's age division in Texas is truly phenomenal. There is talent busting at the seams from all over the state, and for that reason, we had to break it down into 2 volumes of 9 athletes each. Triple Crown NIT is where the elite go to compete, and the 16's age group will have all eyes on them.

[player_tooltip player_id='287248' first='Parker' last='Duncan'] /// Austin Juniors 16 Adidas

[player_tooltip player_id='287248' first='Parker' last='Duncan'] has really impressed early on this season. Her elevation and intensity is unmatched in the Austin area, and her 6'0 frame and reach make her almost unstoppable with her team's fast-paced offense. She has really improved her speed to the ball, and that has helped her become a more lethal outside hitter. She is truly attacking the block now, and taking advantage of any space you give her to swing. If you haven't had a chance to see Parker play, make sure to pencil her in, you will not be disappointed.

[player_tooltip player_id='179919' first='Lily' last='Dee Davis'] /// Austin Skyline 16 Royal

Austin Westlake favorite [player_tooltip player_id='179919' first='Lily' last='Dee Davis'] is sure to impress at Triple Crown. The 6'2 outside hitter had a dominant sophomore season for her high school team and is proving to carry that over into the club realm. Her team is stacked with talent from top to bottom, but Davis does a good job of standing out with her consistency on offense and aggressive serving. She has a very disciplined approach to the ball, always contacting at her highest point and this proves effective for her both in system and out of system.

[player_tooltip player_id='179568' first='Isabella' last='Ocampo'] /// Skyline 16 Royal

[player_tooltip player_id='179568' first='Isabella' last='Ocampo'] is familiar to me from last club season, but this year she has really come into her own as one of the rising elite outside hitters. The 5'10 outside has always had a ton of power and hops, but since playing a competitive varsity high school schedule, she has really brought all of that together to become a very effective heavy hitter. She puts a lot of zip on the ball with her quick arm swing and an aggressive snap. She has a nice sharp cross-shot that catches a lot of defenders off guard. I will definitely be keeping up with Isabella more this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='180535' first='Ava' last='Steffe'] /// Skyline 16 Royal

[player_tooltip player_id='180535' first='Ava' last='Steffe'] is a new name to me this club season. After first watching her last school season, I realized she needed to be on my radar. The 6'0 outside has a lot of potential and has done some serious damage to opposing defenses already this season. Compared to her high school season, she is getting faster every day, and being more aggressive on her approach. She is a momentum changer, and can easily sway the course of the game with a few big swings in tight moments. This up-and-coming outside could turn out to be a big-time player for the Frisco area.

[player_tooltip player_id='180469' first='Suli' last='Davis'] /// Drive Nation 16 Red

[player_tooltip player_id='180469' first='Suli' last='Davis'] is currently ranked as the #1 prospect in her class by Prep Dig. If you haven't had a chance to see her play, now is the time. Once you watch her get going, you will quickly see her commanding presence on the court. She is the type of player to do whatever is necessary to win both offensively and defensively. She pushes herself and others on the court. She is also a very smart player, that knows when to crush the ball and knows when to find the floor with good placement.

[player_tooltip player_id='184252' first='Jordyn' last='Moore'] /// Excel 16N Red

I really liked [player_tooltip player_id='184252' first='Jordyn' last='Moore'] all throughout this last high school season. She was an integral part of Argyle's playoff run. I just love her consistent setting. She is always taking the ball from the same area above her head, and she is really hard to read as a blocker. Her height is a major bonus, and she uses her 6'0 frame to her advantage, tee-ing up tight balls to her middles, and jump-setting everything she can. She is also capable of being an offensive threat on the right side.

[player_tooltip player_id='179896' first='Sydney' last='Black'] /// [program_tooltip program_id='431166' first='Houston' last='Juniors'] 16 Elite

Premier Houston area libero [player_tooltip player_id='179896' first='Sydney' last='Black'], who has led her high school team to be one of the best in the state over the last 2 years, should be a defensive standout over the course of the tournament. A quiet leader and her commanding presence on the court help her lead by example. Her speed and agility separate her from the rest of the pack. Sydney is also a standout in serve receive, passing very well on really tough serves. This [program_tooltip program_id='431166' first='Houston' last='Juniors'] team competes on a very high level, and they will be fun to watch.

[player_tooltip player_id='179890' first='Taylor' last='Porter'] /// Houston Skyline 16 Royal

Another impressive 6 rotation outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='179890' first='Taylor' last='Porter'] will be on everyone's shortlist. She has been a leader from a very young age both in talent and in demeanor. Taylor operates on a very fast offense and can beat the block or cut it line or sharp. She also has a killer back-row attack that is amazing to see, and her lockdown defense seals the deal as the complete package.

[player_tooltip player_id='180172' first='Lauryn' last='Mack'] /// TAV 16 Black

[player_tooltip player_id='180172' first='Lauryn' last='Mack'] is a 5'11 outside hitter from TAV 16 Black out of the Dallas area. Lauryn has an incredible vertical, and her hang time makes it so much more impressive. She can see the court and pick the shot she wants to make. She does a really good job of getting involved in her team's offense, moving around in serve receive to be available. If she is in system, opposing team defenses don't stand a chance.
