Here is a first look at several uncommitted 2024 prospects that will be in Spokane over the weekend.
The Camas libero fires up the OJVA 17 Gold backline defense. Cat quick with an excellent ability to read the opposing offense, Reiter and her squad will compete in the Open Division. OJVA has talented players from Oregon and Washington- keep an eye on recent Old Dominion recruit Elisabeth Levick, powerful middle Hailey Heytvelt, and another Camas standout, Avery Walunas.
Highlights
Foley has excellent length attacking from either pin and has added an accurate pipe swing to score for her Sudden Impact VBC 17-Storm team. She is playing well in serve receive, and has shown a soft tip she can drop right over the top of the outside blocker.
The talented setter from Columbia River runs the offense for the Excel 18 Lux team. McCoy stays consistent and neutral with her footwork and hand placement and has an excellent touch and connection with her middle attackers. She will reverse the flow of the offense to find her right sides and plays athletic, gritty defense.
Julissa Pernsteiner is a dynamic 6 rotation 2024 outside from Oregon to keep an eye on- along with both Olivia’s on the roster. Olivia Adamo and Olivia Brown are both versatile 2024 pin hitters who contribute to the team’s success.
The lefty from Mead High School has a high volleyball IQ, a strong serve, and will move the ball around accurately to find good matchups for her hitters. Wilson has shown a strong swing attacking from the setter spot in the 5-1, opposing blockers have to respect her ability to slam down a pass that’s tight to the net.
Highlights
Danielson is rapidly rising as a terminal outside attacker. The Dakine team has no shortage of talented players, the 6’2 pin from Lake Stevens has a powerful swing from the outside or right-side position. She has a great press as a blocker, with her experience as a middle contributing to her skill and hard work blocking as a pin.

The Puyallup lefty is an explosive opposite who likes to rip it down the line and surprise opposing hitters with an excellent block. She plays bigger than her listed height and can take a big swing in a crucial spot. Hangca has excellent footwork and has had great training from the Puyallup and NPJ coaches. It’s tough to teach her naturally powerful arm swing, and she is not afraid to blast away from either pin.
Highlights
Hickman is an important part of the CPA Drew 17 defense, the Ridgeline libero has been critical in the excellent CPA ball control this season. She has been reading the attackers and cushioning hard shots, keeping her setters out of the net. Hickman has tremendous reactions and will keep rallies alive with diving digs, her biggest improvement has been as a setter. On a second ball, she can deliver a bump set or locate it using her hands.

The MVP of the Mid Columbia Conference is a floor leader for her Shockwave 17 team. She runs the offense, is excellent as a defender, and has a great sense of when to score with a well-timed dump. Dolven has an awesome presence on the floor as a setter and is a true leader for her team.
Highlights
Ferrin had a first-team all-league season in the GSL for her University team, and her aggressive arm swings from the outside continues to rack up points for Renovators during the club season. At 6 foot, Ferrin has a high contact point and is not afraid to go line or high hands against a big block. She is an excellent athlete who has a high ceiling as a six-rotation outside.
PSVBA Legacy 17 relies on Saldana to run the team effectively on the court and the junior from Stadium has delivered thus far. She is effective attacking from the setter spot in either a 5-1 or 6-2, and can locate her sets to either pin. Saldana hangs in tough against hard shots down the line and will get on the floor to dig out a tip or off speed shot.
