The senior setter from Mead had three possible trips to state in her career and captured state titles in 2021 and 2023, with a 2nd place finish sandwiched in between. Wilson is a winner, with excellent location on her sets and the hands and strength to move the ball pin to pin from everywhere on the court. Her left-handed float serve and attacks from the front row just add to her overall game; Wilson made one of the larger moves in the top portion of the rankings, up to #13 overall in the class of 2024.

Wilson has been a steady force for Mead, getting to the second ball and giving her young group of attackers well-located sets to swing on. The 5’11 lefty is attacking over .300 and leads the team in aces with 30 while racking up 621 assists, 3rd in the state. Mead has improved from game 1 to this point of the season and is again a legitimate contender for the 3A title.

The 5’11 team captain is leading the state in total assists, while doing an excellent job leading a group of young attackers for the Panthers.

Wilson is a heady setter with great size, excellent location, and the ability to run fast tempo. The Mead senior is committed to Cal Poly Humboldt, the ‘Jacks compete in the tough Division II CCAA Conference. Wilson has the opportunity to lead Mead back to the state tournament for a third trophy in three tries, with 2020 not having a tournament at all.

The lefty from Mead High School has a high volleyball IQ, a strong serve, and will move the ball around accurately to find good matchups for her hitters. Wilson has shown a strong swing attacking from the setter spot in the 5-1, opposing blockers have to respect her ability to slam down a pass that’s tight to the net.

The lefty from Mead in Spokane has great awareness and good length for the setter position. She took over the full-time setter spot for the Panthers this season and helped guide a team that lost critical players to graduation back to the state title game. A growing threat as an attacker, Wilson can send over crafty dumps, but she can also take a full swing on a second ball and hammer a kill. Her high contact point is ideal for her attackers, both middles for the Panthers hit over .300 for the season.
