Mccoy is running an excellent tempo offense that takes advantage of the strong group of Columbia River attackers, Her defense is outstanding and athletic, Mccoy has the toughness to hang in against a crushed attack or jump all over a tip and better the ball for her team. She has shown a crafty ability to pick up kills at the net with a push to the corner or a quick flip over her shoulder that finds an open spot in the defense.

Mccoy is completely dialed in from the setter spot for the Rapids, and she is moving the ball with tempo and great location to her high powered attackers. She is squaring up, staying neutral and delivering to both pins and her middles without showing the defense where the set is headed. Mccoy played with tremendous confidence in week 1 and week 2, running down passes on the move, and making great choices moving the ball to both pins and the pipe.

McCoy impressed right off the bat on Saturday. With great hands, a light touch on the ball, and solid footwork, McCoy was setting dimes left and right, moving the ball around the court seamlessly. McCoy has improved so much over this past club season, and it will be exciting to see how her senior year goes.

McCoy did an excellent job running a 6-2 over Regionals weekend for Excel 18-1 Lux. An intelligent setter with a strong court vision, she is always finding the best matchups for her attackers. McCoy is not only a talented setter but is also a strong right-side attacker. She swings deep into the back of the court to rack up kills.

McCoy stays consistent and neutral with her footwork and hand placement and has an excellent touch and connection with her middle attackers. She will reverse the flow of the offense to find her right sides and plays athletic, gritty defense.
Julissa Pernsteiner is a dynamic 6 rotation 2024 outside from Oregon to keep an eye on- along with both Olivia’s on the roster. Olivia Adamo and Olivia Brown are both versatile 2024 pin hitters who contribute to the team’s success.

Her willingness to speed things up and keep her sets low, fast, and on target is her biggest strength.
