This kind of response is good for me, good for Prep Dig, good for the sport of volleyball in Kansas, and most of all great for the included players who are gaining recruitment exposure.
The fifteen-age group is tough and enjoyable to scout. Not all 15s have played varsity ball, which makes it tough to find statistics on them. Also, at age 15 it’s difficult to tell how serious players are about volleyball as their possible top sports option or if basketball, softball, track, wrestling, bowling, or scholar’s bowl is a player’s first love.
Yet, without any further introduction here is my list of all-star performances from players who will graduate in 2026.
Carlie Pandjaris Carlie Pandjaris 5'8" | OH Blue Valley West | 2026 State KS , 5’8”, OH, Blue Valley West, Pohaku 16-1
The strong athletic product out of the Pohaku Club finished a region bid match in April with five kills, five digs, and eight serve receptions. She is a possible six-rotation player or could become a hard-core hitter based on her further development. She played up in 2023 competing for Pohaku’s 16 team rather than the 15 squad.
Cami Sher, 6’1”, OH, Olathe West, KC Power 15-1
Sher is the real deal and has plenty of time to refine her game before college. She is a hustler and takes control on the court. Sher finished with 11 kills, four digs, and two blocks in a March victory during a region bid event.
Julia Anisimova Julia Anisimova 5'9" | OH Shawnee Mission Northwest | 2026 State KS , 5’9”, L, Shawnee Mission Northwest, Pohaku 15-1
Anisimova is a tall and athletic Libero. She has a strong accurate serve and served on 16 straight points to a Power League match in Wichita. Anisimova really wants to play beach volleyball, so maybe one day we will see her playing in the Olympics.
Suttyn Harris Suttyn Harris 5'11" | MB Inman | 2026 State KS , 5’11”, OH, Inman, Fight Club 15-1
Harris is a big-time athlete. She dominated a match I watched before she left with an ACL injury. She had three kills, two serve receptions, and one dig, before leaving the Power League match. Here’s hoping her rehab goes well, because she is a college star in the making.
Gyntre Fletcher Gyntre Fletcher 5'6" | S Wichita Northwest | 2026 State KS , 5’5”, OH, Northwest (Wichita), Air Capital Aces 15-1
Fletcher is a six-rotation beast. She can hit, set, pass, and plays with frenetic energy. She finished with 11 kills, eight assists, and eight digs in a Power League Match in Wichita.
Emma Barrington, 5’7”, OH, Olathe East, PVA 15-2
Barrington played a significant role in a region bid event in March. Barrington had five digs, four serve receptions, and one kill. She is composed on the court, especially for her age.
Brooklyn Benoit Brooklyn Benoit 5'11" | OH Wichita Northwest | 2026 State KS , 5’8”, MH Northwest (Wichita), Air Capital Aces 15-1
Benoit has “Go-Go Gadget Arms.” The Wichita Northwest product has a long reach and sweet swing. Benoit had seven kills, 10 serve receptions, and eight digs in a Power League Match in March.
Neely Leathers Neely Leathers 5'10" | S Olathe West | 2026 State KS , 5’10”, S, Olathe West, KC Power 15-1
One of the best of setters, I scouted in the 2026 class was Neely Leathers Neely Leathers 5'10" | S Olathe West | 2026 State KS . She can push the ball to the pins and she has pistons for legs. She racked up 20 assists, seven digs, and two kills in one match I scouted.
Willow Weninger Willow Weninger 6'1" | RS Blue Valley Southwest | 2026 State KS , 6’0”, RS Blue Valley Southwest, Pohaku 15-1
If Weninger played football she would play middle linebacker. The Blue Valley Southwest product is a strong, tall, physical athlete with strong upper body strength. She had six kills, three digs, and one serve reception in a Power League victory.
Honorable Mention: Here are some other talented athletes in the class of 2026 who just missed being added to the list above: Claire Buss Claire Buss 5'9" | OH Wichita East | 2026 State KS , East (Wichita), Air Capital Aces 15-1; Sainya Barber, Northwest (Wichita), Fight Club 15-1; Maddie Coester Maddie Coester 5'10" | OH Girard | 2026 State KS , Girard, PK Stars Aquilas 15-1; Emma Lilly, Frontenac, PK Stars Aquilas 15-1; Siree Ridder Siree Ridder 5'8" | OH Olathe West | 2026 State KS , Olathe West, South KC Juniors 15-1; Addison Rockley Addison Rockley 5'11" | MB Rose Hill | 2026 State KS , Rose Hill, Air Capital Aces 15-1; Hailie Vaughn Hailie Vaughn 6'0" | OH Blue Valley Southwest | 2026 State KS , Blue Valley Southwest, Pohaku 15-1; and Lucy Watson Lucy Watson 5'9" | MB Bishop Miege | 2026 State KS , Bishop Miege, KC Power 15-1.
