Pandjaris has turned herself into a defensive wizard over the years. When I first saw her play club ball, she was being used as an outside hitter. She leads the Jaguars in digs with 258 in 77 sets played. She has also recorded a team-high 363 serve receptions. West will play on Court B and open its tournament with an 11:00 a.m. match against No. 7 Seed Olathe Northwest.

Blue Valley West is a front-runner to win a state title, and at the heart of its defense is Pandjaris. I first saw her play during the 2023 club season, and her game has evolved over that time. She leads the team in digs with 120 in 35 sets played. This is her fourth-straight season with 100-plus digs, and she is poised to set a career high in digs, surpassing her sophomore season total of 160. She is ranked No. 50 overall and has verbally committed to Rockhurst.

There is always a question of which KC Area teams I get to watch. I don’t love driving to Kansas City, although I have gotten better at it over the years. This small-town kid was scared to death of driving in KC when I was in my 20s. Pandjaris is one athlete I would plan a trip to KC to try to watch. I first saw her play a couple of seasons ago at a club match in Lawrence. I saw her last year at the State Tournament in Salina. I would like to see her play for the Jaguars one more time. She is ranked No. 31 overall in the Kansas Class of 2026 rankings.

Pandjaris is an athlete I have been watching for several years and I am looking forward to seeing how her senior year goes, and what future opportunities lie ahead for her. She is ranked No. 31 overall in the Kansas Class of 2026. When I first saw her play, she was being used as a hitter by her club team, but these days she is playing more as a defensive specialist for her prep team. She has strung together three straight seasons with 100-plus digs for the Jaguars.

I first noticed Pandjaris at a club event in Lawrence quite some time ago. She was playing as a hitter back then but has transitioned to back-row defensive specialist for Blue Valley West. During her junior season, she collected 154 digs and 363 serve receptions with just 15 reception errors. She can still get up and hit and is a solid college prospect.
