The Sioux City schools in general are on the rise in Western Iowa and Sioux City North is on the rise as they advanced to a regional final last year after defeating Waukee in the regional semifinal. North has a really solid freshman class that have been playing at MVP United out of Dakota Dunes, SD and has plenty of Siouxland athletes. Lloyd is an electric outside who can play all the way around. As a freshman, Lloyd had 229 kills and 237 digs. North also returns two other attackers who had over 100 kills in incoming seniors in Sidney Chamberlain and Ashlyn Strohbeen.
