Evans has established herself as one of the state’s top all-around performers. She’s also one of the better uncommitted seniors in Iowa. As she had through her first three seasons as a prep, Evans began 2025 strengthening her squad through six rotations. During the campaign’s first 17 matches, she 181 assists, 163 kills, 163 digs and 10.0 blocks. Evans is an explosive athlete that can leap out of the gym and cover a lot of court. Her swing is quick and powerful. Evans stands out as a setter, where she consistently runs a smooth operation. Her ability to bow up in the back row is a common occurence in club and school ball.

Evans does everything for the Golden Hawks. The two-time all-state selection delivered 584 assists, 359 kills, 374 digs and 22.0 blocks as a junior in 2024. That production helped Mid-Prairie reach the state tournament last season. She focused on the back row during the club campaign with Adrenaline, and that’s her likely home on the next level. Setter also could be her future. Either way, Evans can help a lot of programs on the next level. The versatility is an added bonus, especially with the shrinking roster sizes in college sports.

During several in-person scouting opportunities since last summer, Evans has impressed me most with her consistency and versatility. In high school, she does it all through six rotations for Mid-Prairie. She led the Golden Hawks in assists (584) and kills (359), ranked third in digs (374) and even came up with 22.0 blocks. Evans holds down the libero spot for Adrenaline and the back row will be her college home. She shows good reaction time, quickness and lateral movement. Evans is a technically sound passer that is adept at reading the attack and getting into spots to make plays.
