[player_tooltip player_id='412056' first='Elizabeth' last='Mitchell'] Left Side (MVSA Charge) # 40 - The MVSA Charge roster is loaded with talent. Sometimes it takes time to sort this talent out. Mitchell can be overlooked with [player_tooltip player_id='322107' first='Eden' last='Tardy'] hitting bombs on the outside and [player_tooltip player_id='325599' first='Raegan' last='Lentz'] doing the same from the middle. Elizabeth can also put some heat on the ball from the outside. She produced some critical kills at the Junior Nationals.

[player_tooltip player_id='397397' first='Jasmine' last='Williams'] middle (Club 540/Colonial Forge) #49 - Club 540 15 impressed at the East Coast championships., finishing second to MVSA Charge. Jasmine closed up lots of alleys with her blocking in the middle. Her blocking appears to be a little more advanced at this stage than her hitting, but she still showed the ability to put balls away in the middle. At 5'11" she could be a force in the middle for years to come.

[player_tooltip player_id='397192' first='Kadie' last='Cardozo'] Libero/DS (Club 540/CD Hylton) # 53 - Good teams need quality liberos to operate any kind of offense. Kadie passes well and plays a strong defense to keep Club 540 in system. She also brings a good serve to her game. The first time they played MVSA Charge in pool play they rolled over them. Kadie provided the match ending serve.

[player_tooltip player_id='397539' first='Carolina' last='Eastlake'] Middle (Club 540/Courtland) # 56 - Club 540 won their first eight games in the East Coast championships. One reason for that streak was their strong middles. We mentioned Jasmine above. Carolina also puts up strong blocks to neutralize the opponent's offensive game. She also showed some versatility in her game, hitting from the left and right side.

[player_tooltip player_id='397536' first='Aubrey' last='Parker'] Setter (Club 540/Riverbend) # 70 - In the games I watched Aubrey set a 5/1. She ran the offense well, even using a quick back set to the right side. At 5'11" she has the height to make a difference in the front row as a setter. Definitely a player to place on the radar for the high school season.

[player_tooltip player_id='436117' first='Sydney' last='Turner'] Middle (Liberty Elite) # 72 - Sydney stands 5'11". She can provide an offense in the middle and put her hands over the net to provide a solid block. Improving her quickness to the pins would enhance her game. That should come with more experience.

[player_tooltip player_id='412055' first='Lilly' last='Kennedy'] Libero/DS (Paramount) # 76 - Paramount used a number of players at the libero position. At the end Lily Kennedy played there during the Junior Nationals. She brings a good platform for passing. Increased opportunities in playing the position will improve her reads on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='394612' first='Natalie' last='Carlton'] Left side (American/Patriot) # 91 - A smaller outside with a fast arm swing that puts excellent velocity on the ball. She also appears comfortable hitting out of system sets. When I watched American play she was restricted to three rotations. Improved back row player would improve her diversity.

[player_tooltip player_id='434861' first='Bailey' last='Swinton'] Libero/DS (Maryland Jrs. Black/Arundel) # 96- She played up on the 16 team. In some rotations as a defensive specialist she lined up in a two person serve receive. On defense she gets good reads on the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='436119' first='Faith' last='Ukiteyedi'] Middle (MEVC Premier/Quince Orchard) # 101 - At 5'11" she brings some length to her game giving her an opportunity to block well. Her arm extension enhances that length. She also shows good athleticism for the position.

[player_tooltip player_id='399708' first='Aven' last='Thorn'] setter (Liberty Elite/Jefferson) # 108 - Aven did not play the first half of the season because of an injury. She has good hands with a high volleyball IQ to distribute her sets well. She just needs to get back into volleyball playing shape. At the Junior Nationals she played a good defense in the back row.

[player_tooltip player_id='436114' first='Jocelyn' last='Yuan'] Right Side (MVSA Empire)/Richard Montgomery # 123 - Impressed with her lefthanded swing from the right side. She definitely bears more watching.
