[player_tooltip player_id='114584' first='Elise' last='Marchal'] - Kings
The senior Appalachian State commit returns this fall following a stellar 2022 season in which she was all over the ECC stat leaderboards, earning her 1st team all-league honors. She led the ECC offensively with 389 kills while also finishing top-five in service aces, total blocks, and attacking efficiency. She is one of the most versatile attackers in the state with point scoring potential through quick options, at the pins, and out of the back row.

[player_tooltip player_id='151959' first='Olivia' last='Schmidt'] - Badin
Schmidt is one of the biggest stock risers from last fall to this coming high school season. She was a critical part of Badin's late season push to the state semifinal round in 2022 and has improved the quality of her movement and arm to be an even bigger factor this season. The 6'0 junior is more fluid and aggressive in her approach work, which she complements well with her defense at the net.

[player_tooltip player_id='152053' first='Ashley' last='Sess'] - Mercy McAuley
The 6'2 junior should have a bigger presence for the Wolves this season, which will increase the balance in their offense given the strength they return at the pins. She has good length, which is a big asset given the increased efficiency of her approach work through a variety of options around the setter. She gets up and over the net well defensively, which will be a key dimension for this team and their ability to transition effectively with their offensive depth.

[player_tooltip player_id='114600' first='Faith' last='Young'] - Harrison
Young played a lot of middle during the club season and was very effective as one of the heaviest arms on her team. She swings on the pin for her Harrison team during the high school season and returns in 2023 after consecutive varsity seasons of 340 and 383 total kills for a career average of 5.1 k/s. To match her high-volume work offensively, she contributes well on the defensive side as well. The junior has earned back-to-back seasons at 8.4 d/m. She is committed to Western Kentucky.

[player_tooltip player_id='195856' first='Lindy' last='Radaszewski'] - Ursuline
The defending state champs lost their 1st team all-Ohio middle but return Radaszewski, who complemented this team's effort well on both sides of the ball. She has improved her point scoring ability to match her aggressive net play with her arm. Coming out of club, she continues to elevate well while adding better range in her offensive tools that will help her assume the top middle role for this team. She was among conference leaders in total kills and blocks behind the GGCL's top performer in in her former teammate in both stat categories who has moved on due to graduation. Ursuline should contend well once again this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='403522' first='Kendall' last='Northern'] - Summit Country Day
Northern impressed quite a bit during the club season. She is athletic and physical at the net with big elevation and a nice arm. She will be a key part of her team's strategy this season as they return some key pieces that helped them advance to later rounds of the postseason in 2022. As a freshman in 2022, she was second on this team offensively with 2.4 k/s.

[player_tooltip player_id='207166' first='Zari' last='Gillispie'] - Summit Country Day
Gillispie arrived on our radar just prior to the recent club season. She has noticeable athleticism in her quickness and elevation, which complements Northern well helping to create a dynamic middle tandem for the Silver Knights. The junior was third on this team offensively at 2.1 k/s while leading them in efficiency at .366 and at the net on the defensive side with 49 total blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='151983' first='Raegan' last='Waller'] - Roger Bacon
Waller makes the move to Roger Bacon and helps fill a big void in their offense due to graduation. The Spartans advanced to the regional final round in 2022 behind a trio of arms, including a middle presence that has graduated. Waller, a junior, brings with her good size at 6'1 and offensive tools and versatility that have amounted to a 1.8 k/s career average for her previous high school team. A stock riser during the club season, look for her to make an immediate impact for Roger Bacon.

[player_tooltip player_id='227797' first='Gabby' last='Semona'] - St. Ursula
Semona garnered a lot of attention over the club season given her length and ability to play well above the net from the middle. At 6'3, she is rangy with her arm as she develops big torque at the top of her approach that allows her to bring heat and movement upon contact. Seeing limited action for St. Ursula during her freshman season in 2022, she average 1.6 k/s. She will likely see more opportunities with potential to be one of the biggest impact middles in the tough GGCL this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='381152' first='Kendall' last='Bosse'] - Ross
The rising sophomore is athletic with a high ceiling for her development towards becoming at elite prospect. At 6'1, she has good size to match her ability to get up well and her aggressive arm in the air. She moves well laterally with quickness and efficiency that help her defend effectively at the net. Offensively, she is a key piece returning for Ross and should see some higher volume work in helping the Rams improve upon their 2022 finish. Her upgrades in competition experience and skill development during the club season should benefit her well this fall.

Elise Marchal Elise Marchal 6'0" | MB Kings | 2024 State #118 Nation OH - Kings
The senior Appalachian State commit returns this fall following a stellar 2022 season in which she was all over the ECC stat leaderboards, earning her 1st team all-league honors. She led the ECC offensively with 389 kills while also finishing top-five in service aces, total blocks, and attacking efficiency. She is one of the most versatile attackers in the state with point scoring potential through quick options, at the pins, and out of the back row.
