Anabelle Schembra Anabelle Schembra 5'9" | S Center Grove | 2027 State IN , 5-9, Center Grove
Already playing up a year in club at TI, Anabelle is a quick, accurate and strong leader in the setting position. She was easily the best setter at our Freshman Showcase a few weeks back, and should be running the show in no time at CG.
Addison Pierce Addison Pierce 5'6" | S Burris Laboratory | 2027 State IN , 5-6, Burris
Although smaller than the average setter, Addison makes up for it with quick feet, accurate hands and a level of pursuit that rivals some defenders. She’s a Munciana kid, so it goes without saying that her volleyball IQ is also better than the mean.
Bethany Ring Bethany Ring 5'8" | S Heritage Christian | 2027 State IN , 5-8, Heritage Christian
One of a pair of setters on Rev’s top 14s team this past season, Bethany is a fast and accurate setter that defends her position well. She also plays with a maturity not normally seen in a kid this young. That maturity makes me believe that her leadership skills are solid and that she’s highly coachable.
Claire Ducey Claire Ducey 5'7" | S Guerin Catholic | 2027 State IN , 5-5, Guerin Catholic
A Munciana Indy product, Claire is a compact and strong setter who would be best suited in part of a 6-2 in the future. Her hands are accurate, and she adjusts well to errant passing by making the ball better coming out of her hands.
Kassidy Merk Kassidy Merk 5'4" | S Terre Haute South Vigo | 2027 State IN , 5-4, Terre Haute South
Coming from the western portion of the state, Kassidy had a solid showing at the Freshman Showcase a few weeks ago. She’s got great footwork, getting to almost every ball the taller setters got to. She projects to being part of a 6-2 in the future, and her three rotations are guaranteed to be well-defended in her position.
