Some we saw last December and others we may have seen some of their progress along the way. For the Class of 2026, here are some players who are new to us and others that made their case for moving up in the rankings during the Prep Dig Minnesota Stock Up Showcase.
College is a lefty that is long, lean and explosive from the right pin. This showcase definitely put her on my map as a dynamic attacker. With additional training she could be a really high impact 6 rotation right side.
Jade Dierkhising
Jade Dierkhising
Dierkhising is quick and uses her long limbs to her advantage. She has a nice high reach and gets a lot of block touches. Dierkhising is a good communicator and has the ability to lead.
Keaveny has really elevated her front row play. She is jumping higher and taking some really big swings. Keaveny moves the ball around the court quickly and utilizes every inch of the net to keep the opposing defense on their toes.
Highlights
Michaelis is a lefty that swings a heavy arm. She has a really high contact point and generates a lot of power. Michaelis is a dynamic attacker with a high volleyball IQ.
Highlights
Pridon has raised her level of play over this past year. She plays for Chaska, who has a pretty tough high school schedule ahead of them. Pridon has nice hands and has found ways to keep herself in the game.
Highlights
Reichert has a really nice jump set that she utilizes often. She releases from the net with fast footwork to get the ball that is passed off the net. Reichert works to get all the way around the ball and pushes the ball all the way to the outside pin. She makes a smart push to the 1 corner in transition for a point and I saw her make some really nice scrappy plays getting the ball out of the net.
Highlights
Repinski is a really athletic lefty that knows just when to take a hard swing on the second contact. She is very fast to the ball with clean footwork. Repinski gets the ball out of her hands fast and clean making it hard for blockers to keep up.
Traczyk establishes herself as a physical middle blocker that will make a difference at the net. She is a spark and gets a touch on a lot of balls. Traczyk is gritty at the net and a solid blocker
Katie Westerholm
Katie Westerholm
Westerholm has good footwork to the ball, a quick release and nice hands. She runs different tempos with good location of her sets. Westerholm operates with confidence and maturity to run a solid offense.
