This is the next big recruiting class that big schools will be keeping an eye on and the countdown to June 15th begins again. Ok, maybe that’s looking a bit too far ahead but I always tell players that it is never too early to work on your recruiting process. Introduce yourself, get on their radar, and work on being the best you can be.
Chlebecek is a big athletic swing that knows how to not only work around the block but she finds a way over it as well. She puts up a dominant block and setters don’t dare to dump when she is patrolling. Chlebecek plays good off-blocker defense and can run a number of different routes and tempos.
Highlights
Christianson has a really high ceiling and a lot of potential that I think she is still growing into. I love seeing a tall young player not shy away from setting and she’s really getting her footwork and body positioning to work for her. She can easily terminate from anywhere on the net. Christianson puts up a massive block and stays balanced to read from the back court on defense. She does a really nice job using the deep corners or working off the block. Christianson is a 6 rotation player that can make a big impact in multiple ways.
Highlights
Swenson has a high ceiling and a lot of potential. She tracks the ball off the passers platform and keeps her contact and release of the ball high and fast. Tight passes are no problem and she is getting more and more comfortable jump setting making her team’s offense even faster.
Jensen is a solid athlete that is solid in serve receive and tracks the ball well. She does not hesitate to put up a stiffling block or sprawl out on defense to protect her court. Most impressive is her big arm swing that allows her to terminate from anywhere and everywhere on the court. She works the corners and sidelines extremely well and gets a really great contact on top of the ball to send it straight down with no chance of returning.
Kraft is a steady and consistent 1st contact. She knows how to position her self on defense and get the ball to target. Kraft reads the play of the ball well and focuses to track it even if it takes a detour. She does a great job defending the deep corner and helping out the defenders around her while getting plenty of big time touches on the ball.
