Paetzel is a vigilent middle blocker. She is loaded and ready for whatever might come over the net. She gets off the ground and sends the ball back down quickly. Paetzel works really hard in transition and consistently makes herself available as an attacker. She was working the angles like a pro in the 4th set.

Paetzel plays scrappy off blocker defense and knows how to set up a strong block. At one point I thought her left hand might be on fire because everything she was touching, she would score! She has a nice high contact and a knack for finding the open court.
