We’ve already perused our new Nebraska Class of 2027 watch list for some pin hitters who have been standing out. High-impact players are plentiful in the middle, too, so this should be another feature full of lively newcomers.
Get these names on your radar early.
Judson is already looking like a future leader in Papio South’s championship tradition. The Titan newcomer is attacking at a scorching clip so far and is seeing her role expand in the lineup. She’s even been entrusted with serving duties and can play some stingy defense in the back row. With this wide range of skills, Judson ought to be a serious Class A trendsetter before long.
We knew Meyers would fit right in among her prep peers at Superior. She dominated the net for South Central NE this spring and was clearly not intimidated by playing against older athletes. Now, Meyers is bringing that influence on the high school side and is back to putting up huge totals.
Highlights
This feature wouldn’t be complete without Wallraff. She’s not just leading the charge in hitting efficiency among freshman. The Elkhorn North middle blocker is leading just about everybody—well in excess of a .400 clip. Wallraff’s addition to the Wolves lineup completely changes the team’s dynamic. Her termination off of one foot is spectacular. After competing in club for Arizona Storm this spring, Wallraff’s move to the Omaha metro has already made waves.
Highlights
Cramer is one of a few Omaha Marian athletes to land on this list. Her future with Premier Nebraska is exciting, too, and Cramer is fresh off a fruitful 14s season on the club side. More high-level volleyball awaits with the Crusaders, a group that is not afraid to feature underclassmen in big matches
