<p>The high school volleyball season is going at full pace in the state of Texas and during the next four months, hundreds of matches will be played across the Lone Star State until we know the new state champions.</p>

<p>Prep Dig will be covering multiple matches every week and featuring the players that stand out the most for their performances over the course of the season, but we'll also preview some matches that have the potential to be very interesting ones. </p>

<p>As we're about to reach the halfway point of district play, some big rivalry matches are taking place around the state and here's one of them:</p>

<p><strong>College Station vs. Brenham - September 29, 5:00 PM - @ College Station HS</strong></p>

<p>The College Station Cougars are on a six-match winning streak, having won all their first six matches on a tough district 21. The team has 25 wins and 11 losses for the season and dropped a single match at home so far. Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='318129' first='Blair' last='Thiebaud'] continues to develop into one of the most promising setters in the state and has amassed 792 assists already, as well as 176 kills, 213 digs and 48 blocks. Senior outside hitter Avery Psencik has been on the end of most of her sets and leads the team offensively, with 346 kills - she also has 308 digs and 419 passes. Senior libero [player_tooltip player_id='519538' first='Camryn' last='Kimes'] has been a stud on the backcourt with 517 digs and 509 passes, while senior middle Addison Jennings leads in blocks, with 53.</p>

<p>The Brenham Cubettes have also been unstoppable in district 21 so far, with six wins and four sweeps. They hold a 26-11 win record for the season. Senior setter/right side [player_tooltip player_id='124110' first='Charli' last='Crowson'] has been the team's main pillar this season as she leads the Cubettes in assists (523), kills (320) and aces (57), while also adding 246 digs. Defense, by the way, has been a strength of Brenham as five players have 200 or more digs already in the season - senior libero [player_tooltip player_id='178811' first='Kristen' last='Kuehn'] (534), senior defensive specialist [player_tooltip player_id='124161' first='Sienna' last='Kelm'] (293), senior defensive specialist [player_tooltip player_id='254083' first='Brooklin' last='Frazier'] (255), Crowson and senior setter [player_tooltip player_id='254071' first='Averi' last='Frazier'] (205). Senior middle Lillie Thibodeaux is first in blocks (80) and second in kills (231).</p>
