Houston I Top 250 Expo – DZ’s Top Performers Vol 3

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We were very excited to see all of the players who had signed up for our Top 250 Expo in Houston Session 1 a few weeks ago.&nbsp; We had some amazing players from all over the state sign up to show their skills.&nbsp; Many players stood out to our court coaches and scouts throughout the entire expo for a variety of reasons.&nbsp; Some players stood out for their dynamic physical skills and some stood out for intangibles like leadership, effort and attitude.&nbsp; Let's meet a few of the players who earned the honor of Top Performer at the Expo.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='251508' first='Chloe' last='Cotten'] [2026] 5-7 Libero (HS: Atascocita/Club: MoCo Mavs/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"align":"right","id":455310,"width":"110px","height":"auto","sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"none"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image alignright size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepdig.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2023/09/944-Chloe-Cotten.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-455310" style="width:110px;height:auto" /></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Chloe is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but is on our official watch list.  She plays for Atascocita High School and also club for the newly formed MoCo Mavs volleyball program.  Miss Cotton has been a fantastic player who has attended our showcases before.  I was super excited to see her again in our t-shirt showcasing her skills.  Her production did not disappoint anyone who was watching.  The ball is very safe when you have Chloe in the back row.  For the past few years, she has shown a great propensity to die on the floor if need be and keep the ball from hitting the floor.  She keeps her eyes fixed on the prize and makes a pursuit of the ball in a variety of ways.  The ball rebounds off of her platform very well as she directs it toward her setter.  We were very pleased with what we saw at the Expo and are happy to award her this honor. Please help us congratulate her on earning the Top Performer award for this Expo. <strong><a href="https://www.prepdig.com/player/alyssa-manitzas/"></a></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='486928' first='Ava' last='Bobnar']&nbsp;[2026] 6-1 Middle (HS: Magnolia/Club: [program_tooltip program_id='462263' first='TAV' last='Houston']/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ava is an unranked prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.&nbsp; She plays at Magnolia High School and also plays for the [program_tooltip program_id='462263' first='TAV' last='Houston'] volleyball club program. &nbsp;Miss Bobnar wowed our court coaches and scouts in attendance with her play out of the middle.&nbsp; She knows exactly what her role on a team is with both offense and defense and it shows.&nbsp; I love the way she runs routes with confidence and ferocity.&nbsp; What I really noticed was how easy it was for her to adjust to different tempos and timing and still find a place to score for her team.&nbsp; This showed me that her court vision is top notch and she adds a lot of value to any team she is on.&nbsp; If she continues to get stronger with her lower body, this could be a recipe for the next level for sure.&nbsp; Her court coaches nominated her for this award and we are very happy to give it to her as she earned it with her on court play.&nbsp; Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='189246' first='Hailee' last='Perry'] [2025] 5-7 Setter (HS: Midway/Club: Texas Fury/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"align":"right","id":482340,"width":"114px","height":"auto","sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"none"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image alignright size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepdig.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2023/11/829-Hailee-Perry-e1700704342875.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-482340" style="width:114px;height:auto" /></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hailee is currently an unranked prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.&nbsp; She plays at Midway High School and also for the Texas Fury volleyball club program.&nbsp; Miss Perry is a solid distributor of the ball for every team she plays for.&nbsp; During the Expo she really stood out for hitting the same target over and over with multiple set locations.&nbsp; I liked how strong she was in pushing the deep pin set during out of system plays.&nbsp; Hailey showed a relentless pursuit of the volleyball on the defensive side out of the right back zone also and this speaks volumes to her effort level.&nbsp; Her court coach remarked about her tenacity and effort level numerous times and when I watched it is exactly what I saw.&nbsp; She loves to play the game of volleyball and it shows on her face and body language during even tight moments.&nbsp; We are happy to award her this honor from the Expo. &nbsp;Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award from our showcase.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There are many more amazing players that will be written about.&nbsp; Stay tuned for more articles on your favorite athletes.&nbsp; If you have anyone you think we should watch out for, please shoot me an email with some info at <a href="mailto:Michael@prepdig.com">Michael@prepdig.com</a>.&nbsp; Also don't forget to help these kids get more exposure by sharing our stories with your friends.&nbsp; Help us help them by simply retweeting on Twitter or sharing on Facebook.&nbsp; Thanks for following Prep Dig Family!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
