Two Top Ohio 17U Teams from the Cincy Area

Combine that with some of Ohio's top ball control talent and they have a recipe for potential success in every event both regionally and nationally. Their setter is 6'0 [player_tooltip player_id='482519' first='Addy' last='Franz'] out of Ursuline and committed to Louisiana. She is a new addition to the core of this team from a season ago after her move to the Cincy area. She led Ursuline's offense this past fall and brings that to TSE in support of their collection of size and power offensively. They have great pin strength led by 6'0 [player_tooltip player_id='176097' first='Luci' last='Heid'] from Badin. The Northern Kentucky commit had a great high school season and returns to the club scene more effective in her pace and range. [player_tooltip player_id='176096' first='Molly' last='Creech'] gets off the floor well at 5'10 as she can score with great arm control to rip through seams as well as it over or tool the block. Oakland commit [player_tooltip player_id='152058' first='Caroline' last='Moore'] is a great option on the right side and is coming off an Ohio DII state title run with her Mercy McAuley team. Where this gets really interesting for this team is in the middle as the trio of options has the ability to command attention that will allow their pins more space versus opposing defenses. [player_tooltip player_id='151959' first='Olivia' last='Schmidt'] is committed to Wright State and has steadily grown her game over the past couple of seasons in the manner of making herself available and being efficient with her opportunities. At 6'3, [player_tooltip player_id='152053' first='Ashley' last='Sess'] brings the best length and was also part of that Mercy McAuley success as their primary middle. [player_tooltip player_id='152055' first='Nia' last='Jones'] has garnered more attention over the past several months as she is very active around the setter. [player_tooltip player_id='152052' first='Sakura' last='Codling'] is one of the top DS/L prospects with good command of her role in the back row. She has good vision and plays with simplicity in her read to react action. She is committed to UCLA. Rounding out the roster are two more prospects that have good skills and add depth. [player_tooltip player_id='152054' first='Daisy' last='Cluxton'], at 5'8, can contribute with her arm and in the first-touch aspect. [player_tooltip player_id='152060' first='Sydney' last='Crowley'] adds more depth to the ball control phase as a DS/L. [player_tooltip player_id='176087' first='Katie' last='Gielas'] (*pictured; FGCU commit) is 6'2 and has continued to develop her tools that maximize the advantage she has with her length when attacking. She pairs with [player_tooltip player_id='151958' first='Allie' last='Barrick'], a 6'0 leaper with ability to hit with power and pace through the full scope of the court. Pin depth increases with [player_tooltip player_id='151957' first='Malia' last='Brinkman'] and [player_tooltip player_id='196364' first='Dakota' last='Spurrier']. The 6'1 Brinkman has a high elbow contact that creates good touch point at the end of her approach. Her size and scoring ability are a big strength for this team as we will likely see her get time in the middle as she can terminate well through quicker options around the setter. Spurrier competed with [program_tooltip program_id='431827' first='Elevation' last='']'s 17U team from a season ago and remains in this age group to add more point scoring and net defense capabilities at both pins. In the middle is [player_tooltip player_id='195856' first='Lindy' last='Radaszewski'], an athletic and physical prospect on both sides of the ball. As she will anchor their net defense, she should find good success offensively given how pin heavy this group can be with a lot of attention expected there from opposing defenses. Also in the middle is <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='524395' first='Katie' last='Helmes']</strong>, a returning prospect to this team that can get off the floor well in spite of her undersized 5'7 frame for this position. The floor distribution will be shared among two of greater Cincy's better setters. [player_tooltip player_id='152056' first='Ally' last='Hughes'] comes to [program_tooltip program_id='431827' first='Elevation' last=''] after previous seasons with another club. The Roger Bacon prospect brings with her a lot of competitive experience and success across her previous high school and club play. [player_tooltip player_id='195616' first='Brookelyn' last='Zeuch'] is 5'4 but makes a huge impact with her skill set. She has a solid fundamental foundation in pursuit and delivery of the second touch that gets her attackers into good situations. Their ball control and defense will be supported by a trio of prospects that round out this roster in [player_tooltip player_id='176092' first='Rainey' last='Weidman'], <strong>Payton Miller</strong>, and [player_tooltip player_id='151977' first='Livia' last='Mahoney'].
