Julia is a player I want to see in person more often. She runs an incredibly efficient court and feeds all of her hitters. She jumped from 78th to 73rd in this rankings update. Julia’s clean touch on the ball and fast-tempo sets help her team out-pace many opposing teams.
Lexi made a huge jump in the rank from 83rd to 59th. She has proven time and time again that she can make big plays against tough hitters. Lexi also has a clean first touch on the ball and adds a lot of value with her simple and consistent serve receive.
Madelyn is a gritty setter who can dig down deep to make great plays in tough moments. She will run down any ball and always looks to give her hitters the best possible opportunities to earn points. Madelyn is a setter with huge confidence in her teammates and great connections with her hitters. She improved from 96th to 92nd in the rankings.
Highlights
Alayna is an athlete who knows how to earn points. She can reliably manufacture kills on the pin and consistently carries a heavy offensive load on the teams she plays on. Alayna is a high-volume athlete who can play in all six rotations. She jumped from 97th to 89th.
I have nothing but respect for Keira. She is one of the grittiest players on the court and is incredibly athletic. I have consistently seen her make plays that make my jaw drop. She is absolutely relentless and competitive in everything she does and that hard work and tough mindset has paid off. Keira is a player who will outwork you at every turn. She improved from 99th to 74th in the rankings.
Ellie is a setter who can set and swing, and I think we will see rise through the rankings consistently over the next year. She is athletic and versatile and has great court awareness. I saw Ellie play at the Gauntlet last season with Northern Lights 16-2 and she will play with their 17-1 team this year. Ellie plays a great game of volleyball and runs the court confidently and efficiently. She improved from 121st to 94th in the rankings.
Highlights
Avery took on a huge role as a right side at Oconomowoc, and her talent and hard work over the years has really paid off. In the past year, she has improved her game’s physicality and aggressiveness. Avery is very versatile and can play on both pins. She really impressed me at State and jumped from 127th to 108th in the rankings.
Callie was all over the court at the Top 250 Expo. She made amazing defensive plays and picked up some tough balls in coverage. Callie is incredibly fast yet disciplined on the court. No matter where she was, she was impressive and I can’t wait to see more of her play. She jumped from 134th to 126th in the rankings.
Highlights
Aubrey is a player who had a huge high school season and definitely raised her stock with the leadership role she took on at Bay Port. She can be used on offense and defense and is very versatile in her play. She moved from 144th to 139th in the rankings.
Addison made a huge jump in the rankings from 149th to 102nd. She is an explosive pin who is a talented 6-rotation player. Addison takes a massive and explosive approach and has consistent and powerful contact on the ball. She is a player on the rise in this class, and she won’t be slowing down anytime soon.
