Avery is very versatile and can play on both pins. She really impressed me at State and jumped from 127th to 108th in the rankings.

Avery had a lot of success on the right side with her high school squad this fall and only continued to impress at the Top 250 Expo. She is an explosive athlete with a massive vertical and can terminate on both pins. She has good court awareness and can make big plays in key moments.

Taylor made some nice defensive plays to get things started but then I saw her take a big heavy swing on the ball. The next swing she showed off her cross body shot. She has a nice passing platform and attacks well from the back row as well as from the outside.

Avery is a pin hitter with a huge vertical. She works hard on the court and always makes herself available for the ball, even in out-of-system situations. While she did not get as many attempts as some of the other hitters, she executed every chance she was given.
