Carroll, one of the middle blockers on Athena 17-1, is a solid middle and all-around player. Carroll finds the deep corners of the court consistently and effortlessly when attacking, and she gets out to the pins to put up a big block quickly. Carroll also brings a tough serve from the baseline.
Highlights
A middle blocker on the RISE 17 Flagship team, Gugliotta is formidable at the net. With super fast footwork off the net and a quick, powerful arm swing, Gugliotta hammers the ball straight down. Gugliotta also hangs in the air while blocking, using her impressive vertical to stop opposing attackers.
Highlights
Hitting opposite Carroll on Athena 17-1 is Harrington, whose height and power help make her a dominating force from the middle. Standing at 6’2”, Harrington reaches high over the net, putting up a wall of a block. When attacking, Harrington combines excellent timing with a heavy arm to pound the ball.
Highlights
Jackson, one of the middle blockers for Webfoot 18 Elite, is an incredibly versatile player. Although Jackson plays out of the middle, she is a super effective attacker from both pins, and she can play solid defense as needed. Jackson also has a quick arm swing and she manages to find holes on the court with ease.
Attacking out of the middle for NPJ Salem 18 National is Mathis, who utilizes her excellent court vision to find openings on the court and create scoring opportunities for her team. The Western Oregon commit connects well with her setters, she’s quick on transition, and she has a fast and powerful arm swing.
The top middle blocker and the #3 overall recruit for the class of 2027, Pedersen is dominant at the net. The OJVA 15-1 middle is not just tall – standing at 6’1” – but she also has an impressive vertical. And, with her quick arm swing and solid court vision, Pedersen is practically unstoppable offensively.

Pernsteiner, a middle for Aspire NW 18-1 and a Pacific Lutheran commit, is a dynamic attacker. Pernsteiner is quick on transition and, with great court vision, she manages to hit off the block effectively and make shots into openings on the court. Pernsteiner also has a heavy arm and can bury the ball.
Robertson is the other middle for the Webfoot 18 Elite team, and she is an impressive player at the net. Robertson runs slides and quick sets really effectively, and she connects well with her setters to put the ball away. Robertson also does a good job of mixing up her hard driven hits with smart shots.
Hitting out of the middle for OJVA 17-1, Rose has a hammer of an arm and is an offensive weapon. Rose brings fiery, competitive energy to the court, and with her aggressive approach and quick swing, she puts the ball away consistently. Rose is a versatile attacker and can also hit effectively from the pins.
Roundy, one of the middles for NPJ Salem 17 National and the #2 middle for the class of 2025, is a formidable athlete. Standing at 6’3”, the Grand Canyon University commit puts up a massive block that proves hard to hit against. On offense, Roundy utilizes the block in front of her well, and puts the ball away with an aggressive approach.

The #1 middle blocker for the class of 2026, Schaaf is a dominant athlete. The Athena 16-1 player gets up so high and puts the ball down effortlessly, combining a quick approach with a whip of an arm. Schaaf is 6’3” and has an impressive vertical, so not only is she commanding offensively, but she also puts up a massive block on defense.

Sinai, the other middle for OJVA 17-1, is super quick and explosive. Sinai uses her height at 6’3” effectively to get up high and attack over the block. Sinai is also excellent at tracking the ball, which helps her to stuff the ball down when it’s tight on the net. She puts up a tough block that stops opponents in their tracks.
Highlights
Williams, the #3 middle for the class of 2024 and a Seattle Pacific commit, is a super solid force at the net. The OJVA 18-1 athlete is a disciplined blocker, using her height and ability to read opposing hitters to put up a wall. She also has a cannon of an arm, and from the baseline Williams brings a tough float serve.
