What Teams Will Be Contending For a Championship?

We can't rule out 17 National overall #1 seed Dallas Premier 17 Black. They have some key players on their new roster this season, number 1 being libero [player_tooltip player_id='206616' first='Jordyn' last='Wacaster']. They finished 5th in the first stop and Jordyn was a main reason for the strong finish. AaJaylah Zeno is a new name for me on the outside position that has huge upside to her game with her vertical and snap on the ball.

Houston Skyline 17 Black could easily grab the title. Last stop their only loss was to Drive Nation in a tough 3 setter. Recently committed [player_tooltip player_id='253963' first='Alexys' last='James'] has been looking dominant lately running a power house offense with hitters like [player_tooltip player_id='209454' first='Ruth' last='Ochelli'] and [player_tooltip player_id='225557' first='Lauren' last='Witte'].

What Teams Could Sneak Up On People?

[program_tooltip program_id='431337' first='Texas' last='Tornados'] 17 Adidas is a team that has the potential to sneak up and cause some upsets. They have a deep roster of everything you are looking for, height, athleticism, and heavy arms. Putting it all together is something that could be dangerous for opposing teams.

HJV 17 National could easily finish top 2 this round if their big hitters pull through for them. With big arms like Addison Menefee and Christin Cowart, it could be a done deal if they are having a good weekend. They are deep in the libero and setter position and have a lot of depth there as well.

Who are some big time players who will be having a huge impact on the tournament?

[player_tooltip player_id='232747' first='Abbie' last='O'Shay'] has been on fire recently and is standing our more and more with every touch. She had a stellar high school season and has been an impact player from day 1 for HJV 17 Premier. She is a heavy offensive middle that gives teams problems.

Outside McKenzie Charles from 360 volleyball has been really promising lately and in the first stop of TOT. She has a very high reach and seems to touch the ball above the block, and when she has a good transition she terminates.

Libero [player_tooltip player_id='187094' first='Anna' last='Melgren'] from Houston Stellar 17 Elite is a libero to watch in this tournament. She just had a huge 14 dig game last weekend and is coming off a very good performance. Her gritty defense gets her a lot of touches on the ball which is fun to see.
