While it was not possible to watch every team and athlete, we were able to see a ton of athletes in action, placing priority on teams playing in Open and in the top 10 of the 16U division.
Below are the standout middles from the class of 2025.
We watched Alannah play as a middle for NPJ Portland 18-1 National. She showed good blocking technique. With a high vertical jump, she gets up and has a quick arm.
We got to see Gugliotta in action for Rise 17 Flagship as one of their middles. She has an explosive approach. She is quick in transition, and is very involved in their offense.
Highlights
Rose is a middle blocker for OJVA 17-1. A powerhouse middle, she has a quick arm and is dominant on the slide attack. She is a massive blocking presence, with an aggressive press.

We watch Roundy play in the middle for NPJ Salem 17-1 National. Standing at 6’3” with hops, she puts up a huge block. She is an active middle, ready to swing at a gap or 3 consistently. She is committed to Grand Canyon!

We got to see Brewer in action with NPJ Portland 17-1 National as a middle. She has shown so much improvement over the past year; her play at Regionals was a testament to this! She is a huge block and has a hammer of an arm. She recently committed to Portland State!
Highlights
Bentley is one of the middles for NPJ Forefront, and was instrumental in their undefeated CEVA season and being named Open champs. So athletic, she is explosive off the floor and does a good job finding holes in the block to swing through. She recently committed to the University of South Florida!
Highlights
Berry is one of the middle blockers for NW Elite 18-1 Gold. They are athletic with a heavy arm. Berry also does a good job creating point scoring opportunities for themself by turning the ball to right back.

We watched Sinai in action for OJVA 17-1, playing as one of their middles. She is a huge blocking presence, staying engaged at the net and moving well laterally. She is also very aggressive in transition, making herself available for the quick consistently
