Acknowledging and cherishing the dedication of those who stand by your side on the court is paramount in the pursuit of victory. To emphasize the importance of acknowledging and showing appreciation to teammates and to spotlight the pivotal role their support plays in the quest for greatness, we’ve extended an invitation to Dani Street to share her insights on the players who make up her club team’s lineup. Through her words, we aim to shed light on the indispensable contributions of the teammates who have been instrumental in shaping her success on the court.
From Dani: Our setter Alexa is a key component of our offense, defense, and overall team spirit and competitiveness. She is smart with her choices on offense and makes some great ups on defense. She never lets a ball drop without effort. On top of that, she is a great teammate and always super uplifting and positive.
From Dani: Brooklyn is one of the middles on the team. She has made great improvements over the course of the season and is great at finding open spots with tips and shoves. She’s super positive and a very supportive teammate.
Clara Stanley
Clara Stanley
From Dani: Clara is one of our six-rotation outsides. This is Clara’s first club season back from her ACL injury and she is doing amazing. She has great shot selection and picks up some incredible digs on defense. She also has a powerful swing and is great at getting on top of the ball. Clara is also one of the nicest people I’ve met and is a great person to have on the team.
Highlights
From Dani: Josie has found her role as right side on our team. She has a super powerful swing and is great at turning line or angle quickly. She is also good at adjusting to sets and can make almost anything work for a swing. From the service line she has a fast topspin serve that drops like crazy. She is a positive teammate and she is great at making everyone laugh.
Highlights
From Dani: Joya plays middle for us and she is incredible. Joya is super aggressive and demands the ball wherever she is on the court. She has a super powerful swing and serves bullets. She is also a positive teammate.
Kaylynn Mamac

From Dani: Kaylynn was a right side/middle-turned-defensive specialist, now playing outside on our team this season. She’s killer in right back and is a key player for our serve receive and defense. Aside from that, she is a great teammate and super loud and energetic.
From Dani: Lauren is another middle on the team. She is one of three returning players to our team this year and it shows. Lauren has a competitive spirit which helps our team so much in our overall competitiveness. Lauren always has energy and always gives her full effort and influences others to do the same. She also has a consistent serve and is a great utility player that can step in and do great wherever we need her.
From Dani: Vivian has just come into a six-rotation outside role for us and is excelling. On defense she puts up a great block and is aggressive in the back row. She is incredible at moving to the line for deep shots and covering behind the wing defenders. On offense Vivian has great shot selection and is always smart with when to swing with power and when to drop a tricky one short. More than her skills on the court, she is one of our most positive and uplifting teammates and she is a great leader on the court.

And finally, we are proud to spotlight Dani Street, a 5’6” senior from Corvallis, Oregon.
Finishing her high school career ranked as the #2 libero from the class of 2024 and the #11 overall recruit, Street has been an incredibly impressive defensive player to watch over the last several years. Street exudes confidence on the court, consistently bringing a calm and collected energy to her team’s back row. She always appears unphased by even the toughest of serves and the biggest of attackers, using her super quick reaction time and ability to read the ball well to make some standout plays. On serve receive, Street is disciplined, never failing to create early, solid angles with her platform to steadily get the ball to her setter. She also exhibits exceptional footwork to get under the ball effortlessly and cover her attackers. Street is not just an amazing player on defense and serve receive; she is also skilled at amassing assists when her team’s setter takes the first ball. And, from the baseline, Street brings a tough serve that proves hard to receive for opposing teams.
Street has been an integral part of Crescent Valley High School’s varsity team for the past two seasons, after transferring from Corvallis High School during her sophomore year. Helping lead her team to two consecutive 5A State titles as one of the team captains, Street has been a dominant factor for the Raiders, effortlessly and effectively commanding the back row for her team. Given Street’s consistency on serve receive and defense throughout her high school seasons, she was named to the Mid-Willamette First Team and 5A All State First Team. Street’s dependency from the back row was undoubtedly a key factor in Crescent Valley’s successes over the past couple years.
Street has remained a constant presence on G3 teams over the past few seasons, finishing her prep career with G3 18-1 as the team’s libero and captain. In the Open division, the team has done very well, holding a solid 11-6 record following power league. With the upcoming CEVA regional tournament this weekend, G3 18-1 is the #7 seed out of 32 teams and is determined to finish the season strong.
Outside of volleyball, Street was a 2023 Academic All-American and has impressively maintained a 4.0 GPA. When she’s not playing volleyball or studying, Street loves to spend time with family, read, and be outdoors.
Street has committed to Corban University, where she plans to continue playing volleyball and major in Nursing. We can’t wait to see Street’s volleyball career continue to flourish while she plays for the Corban Warriors!
With these aforementioned skill sets and qualities, Dani Street proudly earns her spot as one of PrepDig’s esteemed Golden Athletes.
