We can go further.

Yesterday, we highlighted several GJNC-bound Nebraska 2027s who have shined while playing multiple positions this year. With so many qualified 15s teams from the Great Plains Region, we have room to keep this conversation going.

So, let's bring on Part 2.

Let's start with a dynamic setter-opposite--the most classic combination among the multi-positional pairings. Riggert got an early taste for high-level venues when she took part in Pierce High School's march to the state tournament. We could see her potential as a setter and an attacker, so why not combine both roles on the club side? [program_tooltip program_id='429192' first='MVP' last='United'] 15 Red soared to GPR Bid Tournament glory behind Riggert's steady hands and imposing length at the net. Small-town stars are making an unprecedented splash in the club scene.

We've looked at a few pin permutations from [program_tooltip program_id='428743' first='VCNebraska' last=''] 15 Black, and Schmidt has become a fixture in a lot of those variations. She is flexible enough to add depth on the left and the right, providing a critical component to 15 Black's future GJNC plans. Schmidt has caught fire in late-season action while wielding her strong blocking on the wing. Get ready to watch a multi-dimensional effort from the [program_tooltip program_id='428743' first='VCNebraska' last=''] camp in two different 15s divisions.

Bornschlegl embodies what has made [program_tooltip program_id='428743' first='VCNebraska' last=''] 15 Elite so dominant. This Norris prep star brings plenty of heat on the left pin but can also pitch in as a backcourt defender. Diving saves have become a prominent feature of 15 Elite's highlight tapes, and Bornschlegl is frequently the catalyst for those eye-popping plays. Her selflessness along the end line propelled [program_tooltip program_id='428743' first='VCNebraska' last=''] to a 15 Open bid at MEQ. That mindset will be resurrected as Bornschlegl and 15 Elite compete for a title.

We've previously tabbed Schnabel as an athlete who can bring any skill you'd want from a pin hitter. She can take tough frontcourt swings for Premier 15 Red and make a positive impact throughout her attacking stints. However, Schnabel could also be listed as a defensive specialist based on her tireless Zone 6 defense. 15 Red lets Schnabel command a large portion of the serve receive pattern, and she is a natural communicator in any rotation. Keep this all-around standout in mind when Premier 15 Red starts its GJNC trek.

Judson's repertoire keeps expanding. She started on last year's Papio South squad and had a tremendous impact at the middle blocker spot. That's also her primary position with Premier 15 Gold, but that's not the only role she's taken on this year. The Show Me Qualifier revealed her willingness to be a six-rotation asset, effectively making Judson a middle-outside hybrid player. She took some first contacts in the back row and even emerged as an out-of-system outlet on the pipe. 15 Gold blurs positional distinctions in its starting lineup and finds success with any personnel. Judson and her team should have high aspirations for Nationals.

Premier 15 Black's flexibility lies in its pin positions. That's where we find Morris, a savvy hitter who has played on either side of the setter in 2024. She earned valuable reps as a left-side hitter during her freshman season with Millard West. That set Morris up for more highlight moments as 15 Black quickly claimed a 15 USA berth. Her left-side termination has flourished again, but we've also seen Morris work on the right pin in late-season action. 15 Black has extraordinary depth and seemingly infinite options, so we're anxious to see which combinations prevail in Vegas.

Katzberg gets South Central NE back on the board. This Adams Central standout chipped in with a kill per set in her debut prep season--all while excelling at both middle blocker and right-side hitter. Katzberg's dual role remains true with 15 Black, though she was primarily a middle blocker during the team's triumphant GPR Bid Tourney run. All options are available this summer.

Gilbert is a right-side hitter who also brings some middle-esque skills to the equation for Nebraska Elite. She has a knack for scoring in tough situations, and some of those kills come from her one-footed takeoff behind the setter. This unique approach has allowed Nebraska Elite 15 Revolution to mix and match lineups since its January NLQ triumph. Gilbert's frontcourt presence will be key to the team's GJNC success, and she might find more unconventional ways to get the job done.
