I remember seeing her as a 14s and being so impressed by her ability to create space between her body and the ball in serve receive. Or the way she reads the attacker and knows exactly where the ball is going even if it bounces off some hands along the way. She has proven that she can handle some big challenges and I love her movement on both serve receive and defense. Brundage is a scrappy player who carries herself with focus and confidence. She is showing her versatility playing middle back and left back. Burns does a nice job tracking the ball and gets her hips under a hard-driven swing.
