Hellickson is one of the one players that you can probably put anywhere on the court. For a couple of years now, I have seen her In the libero jersey sacrificing her body to come up with some incredible digs and saves. However, midway through the high school season last fall, this versatile lefty found herself leading her team to the state tournament as an outside attacker proving to her coaches, teammates, fans, and future college coach that she will do whatever is asked of her.

She does a great job getting her hips under the ball on defense and doesn’t shy away from using her hands. Hellickson anticipates a setter dump and reads opposing attackers really well. There isn’t much she doesn’t see coming ahead of time.
