Postseason Performers: U15 Washington Pins

Teams traveled to Las Vegas and Orlando, respectively, to compete against some of the nation's best and most tested teams. A long and athletic 5'11", she helped her Sudden Impact 15 Typhoon team to a 6-5 finish at USAV Nationals, good for a 19th-place finish out of 111 teams in the 15 Patriot Division. Boyle has the raw tools to be an impact player as she develops, with quick feet in transition and a snappy arm. It was a solid finish playing in a division with 128 teams. Brown played outside and showed a smooth arm swing and good athleticism playing the ball as a defender. She could find the deep corners as an attacker and looked comfortable swinging from either pin, scoring at a good clip. CRU MAX finished 27th overall with a 5-5 record and an excellent showing in a tough division. Smart is a 2027 prospect from Cashmere who will also represent the Evergreen Region at the USA All-Star tournament in Iowa. A sweet, swinging lefty, Smart played a wicked angle shot and crafted intelligent, tough swings when given a difficult set. The team continued to battle hard, and the Kings Way Christian OH put together a terrific tournament playing as a six-rotation outside. Fobi showed grit and hustle on defense, playing the middle back and ripped swings out of the pipe when Aspire fed her the ball. The 2027 from Columbia River has excellent length and a good feel for the game. In the match against NSCC 15 Black, Gourley played all the way around and held up defensively as a passer in serve receive. She shined outside, dropping in a soft tip, scoring on a well-placed push to the deep corner, and delivered several stinging swings off, around, and over the block.
