<p>Apologies for the delay between the completion of nationals and giving the 15s their due love! Vacation followed by sickness hasn't been kind but better late than never. Here is how some of our teams fared in Las Vegas to end the year. </p>

<p><strong><em>15 Open</em></strong></p>

<p><strong>HPSTL 15 Royal</strong> and <strong>KC [program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last=''] 15 Black</strong> missed the bracket round and battled in the Silver Bracket final match with Royal getting the sweep to finish tied for 9th. [program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last=''] would finish in the 11th spot. The St. Louis-based team went 6-4 over the four days and dropped a close crossover challenge match that would have sent them to the Gold bracket. They are a talented bunch led by [player_tooltip player_id='475322' first='Kate' last='Sherry'], [player_tooltip player_id='544673' first='Marlee' last='Steiner'], and company. </p>

<p>KC [program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last=''] went 4-6 during the tournament. The Kansas City squad received good play from Lee's Summit West product [player_tooltip player_id='446328' first='Tori' last='Massengill']. </p>

<p><strong><em>15 Liberty</em></strong></p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='536389' first='Grace' last='Schwartz'], [player_tooltip player_id='485639' first='Nora' last='Ottis'], and their <strong>Pohaku 15-1</strong> teammates had a tremendous showing in Vegas. They won their first eight matches before dropping a heartbreaker in the Gold bracket. They jumped out and dominated the first set 25-9 before dropping a 27-25 second set contest. This set took some steam out of them and they would lose the final set 15-11. The Kansas City team would finish 8-1, good for a tie for 3rd. Amelia Wilhite, Lauren Newbold, and Anna Hogan earned spots on the all-tournament team. </p>

<p><strong><em>15 American</em></strong></p>

<p><strong>KC [program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last=''] 15 Red</strong> featuring Missouri athletes Hadley Cleavenger and [player_tooltip player_id='525973' first='Dakota' last='Fraase'] tied for 5th with an 8-2 record. They found a six-match win streak heading into the Gold bracket where they ended their tournament with a loss to a tough Mintonette team. [player_tooltip player_id='556998' first='Paisley' last='Hudson'] was named all-tournament. </p>
