Pin Hitters Lead the Way at #PDStockUpNE

Each iteration has brought more and more talent to the forefront, and we just wrote a new chapter in La Vista.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We had double the showcase excitement over the weekend, so we'll have double the post-event coverage, too. We're starting with standout pin hitters from the Nebraska Stock Up Showcase. However, she had the opportunity to shine on the right pin and gave us a full glimpse at her multi-position flexibility. This Ponca standout was lethal off of two feet and could easily get on top of quick sets. Wolfswinkel could play libero at the next level, but her terminal arm could not be contained at Sunday's showcase. She primarily played outside hitter in La Vista and was among the event's most terminal left-side attackers. Wolfswinkel crossed the river from Iowa to join our showcase and represents Cherokee Washington High School in the Hawkeye State. Walz took advantage of her numerous reps and was a constant force on the right side. This Papio South prospect captured our attention while playing middle blocker and opposite for one of Banzai's top squads. She earned recognition as a high-volume scorer at Winside High School and will take her talents to Norfolk Catholic next month. This dynamic attacker showed a lot more than just her frontcourt prowess at Sunday's event. Watters also took a step forward in the ball-control phase and stood strong in the passing pattern. Club Legacy's depth started to flourish at late-season venues, particularly at June's AAU Nationals. Snyder is already in our player database after she tallied several impressive performances for Club Legacy this year. She can take over matches at the net, but we were most impressed with Snyder's first-contact skills at Sunday's showcase. Defensive drills showed us how far Snyder has progressed with her platform and quick reactions. Riggins had a great year in the Nebraska Juniors gym but has seemingly found a new gear this summer. Her explosive approach produced high contact points no matter what kind of set Riggins received. This was a great asset in team drills as Riggins used her creativity to score at will. Homolka delivered on our lofty expectations and even managed to exceed them. The Central City terminator brought a ton of range and did not waver against well-formed blocks. We're anxious to see what numbers Homolka can rack up as a sophomore. It helps that she plays up an age group with [program_tooltip program_id='428717' first='Nebraska' last='ONE'] and still thrives against older peers. The Fairbury native put on a head-turning display during positional drills and kept the momentum going in live action. She was one of Banzai VBC 16 Select's featured attackers, and Moone maintained that star status at Sunday's showcase. Her quick step-close gives her a distinct advantage when attacking out of system. Moreover, Moone can go pass-to-attack to deny any efforts toward slowing down her approach.
