We’ve grown accustomed to Timmons playing up a year in the Nebraska ONE gym, but that narrative has changed in 2026. The Fairbury outside hitter has joined her fellow junior on a revamped Nebraska ONE 17 Black lineup, and the move is already paying dividends. Timmons connected well with her new teammates and showcased her familiar shot variety on the left side. She was particularly effective with tip shots, but don’t forget about Timmons’ rocket arm on in-rhythm sets. 17 Black hopes to replicate last year’s success on the qualifier circuit, even with new athletes like Timmons entering the picture.

Evelyn, a junior for the Fairbury Jeffs, delivered a dominant performance at the conference tournament, totaling 75 kills and averaging 6.3 kills per set while contributing strong defense and serving. She led the team in kills in every match, including standout performances like 28 kills vs. Sutton and 25 vs. Thayer Central. Already the school’s all-time leader in career kills, Evelyn also holds the single-match and single-season kill records. Currently hitting .343, she’s on pace to break the single-season hitting percentage record (.327). She leads the team in kills per set (5.9), hitting percentage, and digs per set (3.8).

Timmons’ attacking volume and effectiveness are nearly unmatched. What else is new? The Fairbury High School outside hitter immediately turned heads when she put up five kills per set in her first season with the Jeffs. Timmons is back above that average two years later, and she’s hitting at an astonishing 0.385 percentage along the way. Aside from Timmons’ scoring prowess, the Jeffs are also keen on making their leading scorer a big part of the serve-receive pattern. Timmons can do it all.

We’re staying with the 17s for our next entry, but this one hails from the Class of 2027. Timmons has spent multiple seasons near the top of Nebraska’s scoring leaderboards with Fairbury High School. She preceded one of those campaigns with a stop at our showcase, where Timmons was a high-flying terminator during six-on-six drills. Her dominance has carried into the club side with Nebraska ONE 17 Black, especially as the stakes rose at USAV Nationals.

We have another Nebraska ONE 17 Black pin hitter playing up from the Class of 2027. Timmons has been with this group for a while, so we got an early introduction to her strength and power on the left pin. She is perhaps best known for her production with Fairbury High School, where she is putting up head-spinning numbers as the team’s featured attacker. Timmons had a whopping 6.4 kills per set last fall and managed to hit well over 0.300 with that volume. This is one of the best on the small-town scene.

Timmons was one of the earliest entrants on our 2027 watch list. It helps that she plays up an age group with Nebraska ONE and still thrives against older peers. The Fairbury native put on a head-turning display during positional drills and kept the momentum going in live action. Timmons is another player who could be on the very top of Nebraska’s kills leaderboard by November.
