The class now has 175 total ranked athletes and includes 46 new athletes.

Athletes, parents, and coaches can click on the “How We Rank” story under the “Rankings” menu to learn more about the process of ranking players.

While I strive for perfection, I also understand that mistakes and typos happen. If you have questions about the rankings or see a mistake please feel free to DM me on social media @KSScoutDeck or email me at deckscoutks@gmail.com.

Remember you attract more bees with honey than you do vinegar. If you send me a negative or rude email do not expect a reply. Also, keep in mind we do not update rankings on a week-to-week basis. Once an athlete is ranked in a spot, they stay there until the next round of rankings. We do attempt to update the rankings three to four times a year.

Here is the first report on changes in the rankings. This one features the Top 10 ranked athletes which includes three committed athletes and two brand new members among the first ten ranked players.

I would also like to remind readers that the Missouri/Kansas Stock Up Showcase is less than a month away.

[player_tooltip player_id='222097' first='Taylor' last='Stanley'], 6'1”, OH, Blue Valley Southwest (Kansas)

Stanley is now the top-ranked prospect in the class of 2026. She was previously ranked No. 5 before the recent update. Stanley finished with 175 kills in 76 sets. She has 300-plus kills in her first two seasons with Blue Valley Southwest. She popped the top early on her college recruitment verbally committing to Kansas University.

[player_tooltip player_id='154038' first='Ella' last='Florez'], 5'9”, S, Mill Valley (Iowa State)

Florez is the top-ranked setter in Kansas and ranked No. 2 overall. Florez is an assist machine and has already racked up 1,393 assists through her sophomore season. She plays in a winning program at Mill Valley and has already verbally committed to play for Iowa State.

[player_tooltip player_id='355656' first='Leah' last='Robinson'], 6'0”, OH, St. James Academy (Houston)

Robinson is the third Kansas prospect to verbally commit early to a Division I program. Robinson is ranked No. 3 overall and has committed to play for the Houston Cougars. She has solid offensive and defensive skills finishing with sophomore totals of 277 kills and 258 serve receptions.

[player_tooltip player_id='357544' first='Suttyn' last='Harris'], 5'11”, MB, Inman

Harris is now ranked No. 4 overall after previously being ranked No. 1. She can really jump and hits the ball with authority. She has 684 kills during her freshman season and is coming off a club season in which she collected 450 kills for [program_tooltip program_id='432164' first='Fight' last='Club'].

[player_tooltip player_id='489348' first='Kyndal' last='Moore'], 6'0”, MB, Ellinwood

Moore sky-rocketed up the rankings after a strong performance in a summer league tournament I scouted. She jumped 40 total slots in Prep Dig rankings. Moore can take over a match and has a consistent swing. She finished her sophomore season with 264 kills in 87 sets for the Eagles.

[player_tooltip player_id='222092' first='Willow' last='Weninger'], 6'1”, RS, Blue Valley West

Weninger is currently ranked No. 6 overall. She is a tall prospect with a big reach. She plays club ball [program_tooltip program_id='515466' first='Pohaku' last=''] and has a high ceiling. She has a physical frame and a solid combination of speed and power.

[player_tooltip player_id='222089' first='Grace' last='Martin'], 5'11”, OH, St. Thomas Aquinas

Martin dropped one slot in the rankings but remains in the Top 10 at No. 7 overall. She is a teammate of Weninger during the club season. She recorded 256 kills in 96 sets played as a sophomore. Martin can play six rotations as evidenced by her total of 199 digs and 489 serve receptions. She more than doubled her number of total blocks between her freshman and sophomore seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='240984' first='Cami' last='Sher'], 6'1”, OH, Olathe West

Sher is now ranked No. 8 overall. She is among the elite blockers in Kansas. She finished registering 76 total blocks for the Owls as a sophomore. She also collected 119 kills for Olathe West. She played club ball with [program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='Power'] last season.

[player_tooltip player_id='222091' first='Avery' last='Sands'], 5'7”, OH, Lansing

Sands is ranked No. 9 overall. The Lansing prospect is an athlete I will advocate for until she signs. She is the consummate team player and a dangerous hitter. She could play outside hitter or defensive specialist depending on college program needs. Sands plays six rotations for the Lions and finished her sophomore season with totals of 271 kills, 278 digs, and 486 serve receptions.

[player_tooltip player_id='222564' first='Brooklyn' last='Benoit'], 5'11”, OH, Wichita Northwest

Benoit is the last new member of the Top 10. She jumped up from No. 16 overall. Benoit caught my eye during the club season. She played for the [program_tooltip program_id='515463' first='Air' last='Capital Aces'] last season but participated in an open gym in Topeka last month, so she might be switching club teams. She finished her sophomore season with 216 kills and 296 digs. She will need an impressive junior season to remain ranked in the Top 10.
