Outsides and right sides are prominent in the Top 50 of the rankings, but with 160+ players ranked, all the positions have a chance to shine. The 2026 class is headed into their junior season of high school, and players who may have been small contributors on varsity or on JV, will now be called on to be a difference maker. Athletes in this class were still young enough to make big moves up in the rankings, and in some cases, make the list for the first time after exploding on the club scene.

Moving up within the Top 10 of a class, or breaking into it for the first time is tough to do. These players are headed to excellent college programs and have a long track record of terrific play. Libero [player_tooltip player_id='251026' first='Kaitlyn' last='Nguyen'] moves up one spot to #3 overall, one of the highest rankings for a libero across the Prep Dig sites. the rising junior has earned it with USAV National Team Development invites, prospect camp appearances at high-major college programs, and of course her outstanding performance on the court. Sudden Impact teammate [player_tooltip player_id='243691' first='Emma' last='Gutke'] also moves up, after a break out club and college camp season that led to her commitment to Auburn University. Gutke has the ideal length and athleticism for a MB, the rest of her game all came together propelling her to commit to an SEC school. [player_tooltip player_id='395703' first='Indira' last='Carey-Boxley'] moved up a spot, as she continues to develop at the OH position after many seasons as a middle. Her explosiveness has translated incredibly well to the pin, her near 10" approach touch allows her to operate high above the block as an attacker.

Colyar was a force on the outside for Club South during the club season, and continued that success playing for The Evergreen Region All-Stars at the USVA All-Stars Championships in Iowa. The West Valley Spokane standout has a powerful arm swing, and has the confidence to send a rocket down the line or hammer a swing off the block. The Eagles have the pieces to push for a spot at the state tournament, Colyar will be an important part of the puzzle.

Puyallup High School is a power player in the 4A volleyball Division, and they continue to develop terrific players at every position on the court. Libero/DS Shane-Tallada is in the rankings for the first time, checking in at #75 overall after an excellent club season with PJVBC. The rising junior is quick on her feet, and makes dynamic plays chasing down off-speed shots and tips. Shane-Tallada played with hustle and grit when we watched her at The Emerald City Classic, she should be part of a stout defense for the Vikings this fall.

The Skyview setter enters the rankings as the #27 overall player at the setter position. She has good size at 5'10" and was a contributor for the Storm last season. Her ability to swing as a right side and attack out of the setter spot gives her team terrific options offensively. Hallenbeck works hard on the block and has a solid press over the net.

Riach plays for Bothell High School and WVBA, and it's during the club season that the 5'11" Riach started her move up the rankings. She has excellent movement and technique when she has to chase down the first contact, and she can deliver a hittable set from nearly any location on the floor. Her length at the position is an advantage that shows up when she is playing the front row, blocking and attacking on two.

Wilder plays for Stadium High School, and completed a breakout club season with NPJ. She is a high flyer who impressed our showcase coaches with her ability to put the ball away, swing out of system and compete head to head against many of the best players in her class. Wilder is an exciting prospect with a high ceiling.

The Camas prospect has a physically imposing game in the middle, and she continued her rise in the ranking ending at #12 overall in this update. Stephen hammered down kills for NPJ this season, she is particularly deadly off a free ball and in system. She has strong hands and can thrown down a monster block to change the momentum for her squad.
