Quad Match at Southwestern Takeaways

The Pulaski County Maroons and Southwestern Warriors started the day before the five-time defending region champion West Jessamine Colts played both then Campbellsville did the same.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>People wondered about the Colts coming into the season with the graduation of eight seniors and the return of two starters. The Colts may have started the season rough with losses to Mercy and Taylor County. However, the Colts showed they will be fine and are still the team to beat with sound 3-0 wins over Pulaski County (25-19, 25-20, 25-14) then Southwestern (25-20, 25-22, 25-15).</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Libero [player_tooltip player_id='588569' first='Sienna' last='Schantz'] and setter [player_tooltip player_id='477143' first='Callaway' last='Marsh'] are doing a good job leading their younger teammates. Once Marsh develops a consistent rhythm with those hitters, West Jessamine will be tough because those players can pound the ball. Many play club volleyball so they are used to tough situations.
