Rankings Update - New 2027 Outsides and Oppos Added

<p>The class of 2027 may only be sophomores, but many players have already demonstrated advanced volleyball skills and high volleyball IQ. Numerous athletes in this class have competed at Nationals, stand over 6'0”, and/or played varsity as freshmen. This is an exceptionally talented group, and we are thrilled to add five new pins to our rankings.</p>   <p><strong><a href="https://prepdig.com/how-we-rank/">Click here to learn more about how we rank.</a> </strong></p>   <p>We are human and try to see as many players as we possibly can, but we do on occasion miss some. She effortlessly powers through and around blocks, frequently ranking as one of the top scorers on both her club and school teams. As a sophomore, she is already a key player on the highly skilled Sierra Vista varsity team, where she excels in the front row. Though she may appear quiet, her performance on the court speaks volumes.</p>   <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='573493' first='Arial' last='Fox'] - OH/RS/DS - Legacy HS</strong></p>   <p>Arial had impressive seasons last year both in school and club volleyball. As a freshman, she played on the varsity team, showcasing her ability to excel in multiple skills. While her hitting stood out last season in both school and club, this year I had the opportunity to observe her passing and serving skills, and she is well on her way to becoming a top six-rotation hitter in Nevada. Last season, she recorded over 100 kills and 32 aces at Legacy HS, but has already accumulated 49 kills and 10 aces so far this season. She is going to shatter her last year's numbers. At the recent USAV Showcase, she impressed scouts and coaches with her hitting and serve receive skills, gaining valuable experience on a big stage. As a sophomore who has been on varsity since her freshman year, Grace played a key role in her team's 4A state championship victory last season. She finished with 87 kills, 42 aces, and 66 digs—a record she's poised to surpass this season.</p>   <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='550903' first='Ava' last='DeCaires'] - 5'7" - OH - Faith Lutheran</strong></p>   <p>Ava excels in all six rotations, showcasing her versatility on the court. As one of the most intelligent scorers in her class, she consistently finds gaps in the defense, whether through powerful spikes or strategic tips. In the back row, she stands out with her strong serve receive and defensive skills. Her serve adds another dimension to her already impressive game. At 6'2", her height gives her a distinct advantage in both blocking and hitting over opponents' blocks. This versatile hitter boasts a powerful swing and excels as a blocker.
