You can see the first seven frosh top performers named here Top Performers at Frosh Showcase | Prep Dig. The remaining top performers at the frosh show case are named below.

[player_tooltip player_id='588468' first='Bella' last='Chen'] (DS/L 2028, 5'5" Glenelg/Maryland Juniors)

[player_tooltip player_id='588468' first='Bella' last='Chen'], defensive specialist from Glenelg HS, class of 2028.

While Bella does all the things you expect in a good libero such as passes well and plays good defense she also stands out as a good communicator. You can always hear her talking on the court. In addition, her lefthanded serve stands out as a big attribute as well, capable of accumulating aces. Don't know if any studies have been done measuring the effectiveness of a lefthander's serve compared to a righthander. Regardless, opponents found her serves extremely difficult to pass.

[player_tooltip player_id='536729' first='Katelyn' last='Rolph'] (S 2028, 6'0" Bullis/[program_tooltip program_id='476729' first='Paramount' last=''])

[player_tooltip player_id='536729' first='Katelyn' last='Rolph'], setter from Bullis High School, class of 2028.

Bullis already carries two pretty good setters in [player_tooltip player_id='321677' first='Charis' last='Burge'] (Edit: Appears Charis transferring back to Urbana) and [player_tooltip player_id='206729' first='Megan' last='Phan']. Adding a third quality setter brings some complexity to the coach's decision. Katelyn stands 6'0" and for a tall girl sets the ball well. I like setters who incorporate a jump set into their repertoire. She also brings some offense when hitting on the right side. Both Charis and Megan belong to the class of 2026.

[player_tooltip player_id='550688' first='Sienna' last='Mitchell'] (RS 2028, 5'11" Colgan/[program_tooltip program_id='476729' first='Paramount' last=''])

[player_tooltip player_id='550688' first='Sienna' last='Mitchell'], right-side hitter from Colgan High School, class of 2028.

Prior to the showcase I did not know a lot about Sienna. The roster shows her playing for Paramount in the Junior Nationals in Las Vegas but in the small window I watched Paramount play her number rarely came up. At the showcase she showed a powerful swing that can put the ball to the floor. At 5'11" with an approach jump at 9'6" she fits the right side well for her age. A little more growth and strength training will enhance her game. Colgan already carries two right sides, but you hate to waste that powerful swing on the bench. A switch to left side should not present an issue.

[player_tooltip player_id='536724' first='Ariel' last='Callwood'] (S 2028, 5'6" Sherwood/Metro)

[player_tooltip player_id='536724' first='Ariel' last='Callwood'], setter from Sherwood High School, class of 2028.

You like setters who move around the court fluidly, breaking early for the ball to get to the target area. Ariel does a good job of that. She also knows when to stay to play defense. Because she plays for Metro she handles the quick tempo sets to the middles well. At 5'6" she needs a little more growth to play the front row. That may come with time. Regardless, her strong hands allow her to set a wide variety of sets. Ariel is the kind of player you want on the court to run your offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='587881' first='Allahna' last='Lacy'] (MH 2028 5'10" Northern Garrett/Rise Volleyball Academy)

[player_tooltip player_id='587881' first='Allahna' last='Lacy'], middle hitter from Northern Garrett High School , class of 2028.

Felt bad for the frosh middles since there were only three of them at the start of the drills. A fourth showed up later to give them a break. Allahna runs the middles and slides well. She also carries a strong physical presence to her game that could gain strength with a diet of physical training. A rare player who lives in Maryland but plays club volleyball in West Virginia.

[player_tooltip player_id='587884' first='Charlotte' last='Dittmar'] (MH 2028 5'11" Annapolis Area Christian/Maryland Juniors)

[player_tooltip player_id='587884' first='Charlotte' last='Dittmar'], middle hitter from Annapolis Area Christian School, class of 2028.

Charlotte brings some good pop to the middle. She and [player_tooltip player_id='545725' first='Abisola' last='Adeyemo'] play for the same club team (Maryland Juniors) as well as the same high school team (Annapolis Christian). Another player who played for Maryland Juniors in the Junior Nationals. Given time she will develop a strong presence in the middle. She brings the athleticism to play some back row defense when given the opportunity to serve.

[player_tooltip player_id='554770' first='Rujuta' last='Singh'] (OH 2028, 5'7" Langley/Virginia Juniors)

[player_tooltip player_id='554770' first='Rujuta' last='Singh'], outside hitter from Langley High School, class of 2028.

Rujuta appears to be one of those players who can play any position well. When she set the ball, I thought I was watching the setting group. She also passed the ball well and played a quality defense. Even at her 5'7" height she also hit the ball well. This year for Langley the only open position sits at right side. She seems too good to settle for junior varsity.

[player_tooltip player_id='545725' first='Abisola' last='Adeyemo'] (MH 2028, 5'10" Annapolis Area Christian/Maryland Juniors)

Unfortunately, Abisola showed up a bit late for the frosh showcase. She arrived just in time to hit quicks with the middles. With little opportunity to warm up she proved one of the more powerful hitters. At the junior nationals she clearly was the top player on the team with her powerful swing in the middle and her penetrating block. Normally, a player with her talent is the first I would identify as a top performer. Because of her late arrival and the scramble to identify players in the last hour she fell out of the spotlight. Definitely a top performer though, even though we failed to get the photo to establish that..

[player_tooltip player_id='558212' first='Violet' last='Zimmitti'] (DS/L 2028 5'4" McLean/[program_tooltip program_id='476729' first='Paramount' last=''])

At the start of the showcase Violet informed me that she was still recovering from an injury and a doctor had told her to take it easy. After watching her hit the floor numerous times I joked with her that she should not be hitting the floor. She explained to me there were certain types of dives she could do. Got to love a player that knows her dives in categories. My colleague on Baller TV then listed her as one of her top performers. So, in hindsight she deserves a spot in the top performer category. This motivates me to watch her at McLean to see how well she plays once healthy.
