has been showing up on Prep Dig’s radar for over a year now and the version of her that took the floor at the Indiana Convention Center on June 29th made it clear why scouts have kept circling back to her name. The 5’11” middle blocker out of Annapolis Area Christian carries a top-19 overall state ranking into a 2028 class that is deep at her position and she has already been described by evaluators as sitting at the top of the middle blocker group in her region. What separated her on this night was not just the way the ball was buried hard to the floor on quick tempo sets. It was the way she led.
Coaches and scouts in attendance pointed to her communication, her composure between points, and the way she pulled teammates into the game rather than playing above them. She has battled at the Junior Nationals level before and impressed there too, so the stage itself was nothing new to her. What stood out at this session was the totality of her game: physical strength at the net, second-touch awareness off the block, and a leadership presence that made the players around her better in real time. Adeyemo plays now with Metro Volleyball Club and the consistency she has built is starting to show in how comfortable she looks in any system. This was the kind of performance that gets a player’s name circled by every coach in the gym, not just the ones already tracking her. Please help us congratulate this awesome young lady for earning this prestigious prize.

I’ve seen this one up close and personal a lot, and she is an absolute monster. She plays on Metro’s new National level team, but that top team must be extremely deep because Abisola is a star. She has so much strength and can block with anyone, then when she wants to can just turn it on and do so much offensively. When playing for her HS team it’s so loaded that she doesn’t often end up the focal point of the offense, but when she does it’s hard to find a team that can match up and stop her. She was my MVP for an in season tournament last season, dominating several games both offensive and defensively. It’s only a matter of time before she breaks onto that Travel team, but it speaks to the crazy depth Metro has that a player this good is on the 2nd team.

It was on full display today why she’s the no. 2-ranked middle, and #14 overall player. She has the athleticism to play any of the 3 front row positions, with her strength and high-level blocking coupled with her arm swing, power, and inside the 10-foot range, she’s hard to answer. Her side-to-side speed is next level, letting her move with the set and be ready anywhere on the court. Just a sophomore, she’s due to break out a bit more before all is said and done, which is a terrifying thought if she’s this good now. She will be an early commit for sure, and this club season is shaping up to be something popcorn-worthy.
