Every position is stacked, and we've seen several recent Division 1 commitments from this class, including [player_tooltip player_id='203840' first='Ayanna' last='Watson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='325888' first='Trinity' last='Thompson'] to Pitt, and [player_tooltip player_id='550487' first='Julie' last='Beckham'] to UNLV. There are many more athletes in this class ready to compete at the next level. She is the backbone of her talented high school team and controls the offense. The junior has been on varsity since her freshman year, and the growth she has displayed is remarkable. She is currently ranked 7th in Nevada for assists, racking up 326 across only 26 games. She is one of the best servers in the state and a skilled passer. In the back row, she demonstrates that she is more than just a setter, digging up some of the toughest hits from opponents. She has a great group of hitters to set, which makes her job much easier. However, where she truly shines is in her ability to recognize who's hot and the connection she has with her hitters. Her ball placement is precise, allowing her outside hitters and middles to have multiple attack options. She has added a variety of sets to her arsenal and is currently second in the state for assists. She's alongside a great group of players but is a crucial part of the team's overall success. The junior has already surpassed her stats from last year by a longshot, proving that her training over the past year has paid off. She reads the game exceptionally well and has impressive form, which combine to make her an outstanding libero. With more and more liberos serving, Wright has developed a strong serve, helping her rack up over 52 aces so far this season, ranking #8 in Nevada. She is a force in the back row, also doubling as a second setter in out-of-system plays. This greatly improved her reading skills for both digging and now that's she back setting, reading the trajectory of a pass from her teammates passes.&nbsp; She consistently demonstrates her hustle and commitment, working overtime to better the ball when she gets a touch. With several strong hitters on her team, she excels at identifying the hot hitters and delivering the ball to the perfect spot along the net. So far this season, she's tallied 246 assists and counting.
