Miy’Aja is a top-performing setter in the class of 2026, standing at 5’7″ and playing for Top Flight 17 National Black at the club level. During the 2024 high school season, she helped lead Legacy High School to a 4A State runner-up finish, showcasing her exceptional skills and leadership. She finished the season with an impressive 558 assists, 187 digs, and 61 aces, demonstrating her versatility and ability to contribute in multiple facets of the game. Miy’Aja played the most important role on her varsity team, handling nearly all of the setting duties and earning a reputation for having one of the toughest float serves in Nevada. Her jump sets were hard to read, as were her sneaky dumps. Miy’Aja’s contributions didn’t stop at the net; she was also a key player in the back row, where she proved to be just as valuable. Consistently digging tough attacks from opponents, she was a rock for her team in defense. Whether it was a fast-paced spike or a short tip, Diggs was always ready, diving for the ball or positioning herself perfectly to keep the rally alive. 

By the end of the season, she had racked up nearly 200 digs, a clear testament to her defensive skills and her commitment to being a complete player on both sides of the court. Her ability to contribute in every aspect of the game—setting, serving, digging, and playing solid defense—made her an indispensable asset to her team as she led them to the 4A state championship. Her versatility, work ethic, and determination helped her team achieve great success, and her impact on both offense and defense was undeniable.

Her hustle and assertiveness can be attributed to her off the court non-stop work ethic and Diggs is ready to commit! She operates with a confidence that spills over to her hitters and her defensive presence at the net exemplifies how multi-faceted she is. Diggs led her Legacy Longhorns to a repeat appearance in the state championship match as a three-time varsity starter and she brought that confidence and leadership to the Nevada Top 250 Expo. This addition on any college roster will be a positive enhancement.

Miy’Aja just had an awesome junior season! She’s way more than your average setter—she’s a total all-around player, making huge digs in the back row and coming through with key aces. She played a big part in Legacy’s state run, helping them finish as 4A state runners-up. This season, she racked up 556 assists (impressive on its own), plus 187 digs and 61 aces. Definitely a player to keep an eye on!

Miyaja has been outstanding since game one this season. She is the backbone of her talented high school team and controls the offense. The junior has been on varsity since her freshman year, and the growth she has displayed is remarkable. She is currently ranked 7th in Nevada for assists, racking up 326 across only 26 games. She is one of the best servers in the state and a skilled passer. In the back row, she demonstrates that she is more than just a setter, digging up some of the toughest hits from opponents. So far this season, she has racked up 101 digs, which is impressive considering she is the setter and normally doesn’t pass on serve receive.
