Updated '26 Rankings: Best Available Setters

I'm always game for looking at rankings by position but I think seeing who is available is something coaches will want to know as well. Setters are such a crucial piece to the puzzle and there are some phenomenal setters in this class that are looking for a home for the fall of 2026. Here are the top five available setters in the Class of 2026.    Goldsmith is a Gold Mine. She ran a fast offense for her Vital 16-1 squad this past club season and she will likely amp up the pace for Chatfield as well. She has quick hands and an accurate release. I personally really like her ability to strategize and take advantage of the opposing teams' weaknesses. Goldsmith plays some serious defense and she plays much bigger than 5'9. Her experience has put her in high-stress matches at a high level of play making her well on her way to handling a high-level college program.     Keaveny gets exceptional training not only with her club at Northern Lights but also with her high school program, Mayer Lutheran. She has the speed to chase down the out-of-system balls and she is strong enough to set the ball from anywhere to anywhere on the court. Need a faster tempo? Keaveny can do that too. I think Mayer Lutheran is one you can expect to see make another run for the X and Keaveny will be calling the shots.     Located on the East side of Minnesota, Repinski has often found herself playing for border clubs. Now she will head to Madtown Juniors for the 2025 season. But before we get that far, we will get to see what the fall brings. Repinski has a way of working magic. She can get to the tight passes and gets to out-of-system passes with ease. Her height and explosive power also make her a big block and attack option. Repinski will be an absolute steal at the next level.     Heading to the south west part of the state we've got state champion, Gillingham who can jump set and run a creative offense that finds a way to win. She's got a relentless drive and fire that powers her athleticism and compliments her volleyball IQ. It's only a matter of time before Gillingham is picked up by a college program since she clearly knows how to win.     O'Keefe has some great moves that can be deceptive in her setting. She can run a fast offense to either pin. You don't see her coming but before you know it she will sneak the ball over into the middle of the floor. I like her positive body language and her athleticism that allows her to chase down bad passes, play defense, and be a solid presence at the net.
