On Tuesday, Mercy McAuley (6-15) downed Mount Notre Dame (11-9), 3-2 (21-25, 25-20, 25-23, 25-27, 15-12) to win its first GGCL game this year. Mount Notre Dame and Mercy McAuley finished 1-7 in GGCL play.</p>

She takes back sets and pounds them to different parts of the court. Wall also does a nice job passing on defense then quickly transitioning to offense. Wall has 151 kills on the season to go with 119 digs.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Northern is solid all the way around. She not only hits hard, but looks for spots while going up then delivering balls where they are needed. She hits from the middle, the creases and the pins. Her flow is so smooth that defenders have to be in the right spot to even have a chance to dig her up. Northern adds in a slide kill. Overpasses land with a thud.</p>

She does a great job anticipating where balls are going and putting herself in position to make the necessary passes and keep plays alive. She does a good job making things happen out of system. She delivers her sets with precision. Hughes can still take solid swings when needed. Hughes has 538 assists, 48 aces and 104 digs on the season.</p>
